Perhaps but not everyone likes the Hami Raid for whatever reason. Unless they decide to make it count for beating Hami in a raid as well as the LGTF to qualify. Granted LGTF is Hami-Lite but it's still Hami.

No... for 1 reason... I'd prefer back items and assymetric arms rather than 2auras.
another aura would take up another anchor slot which is better used for the 2 above items
Also, consider the people who are still playing the game on computers that can barely run it. Adding a second aura to every other character would cause at least some inflation of the system requirements, which they try to keep as low as possible precisely because of the aforementioned players.

Does anyone know why there isn't something (anything) at level 40 for costuming like there is at 20 and 30? Is it just that they haven't thought of anything good to put in there?

Awhile back we got the "dual aura" in the form of say: Electric eyes/electric fists for example.
Now with ish 16 coming, let's kick costume customization up another notch with having an actual second aura so that a character could have for example:
First Aura: flaming fists/flaming eyes
Second aura: electric body
Also a new aura idea to add in: "Hami Aura". By this I mean a fully color customizable hami aura like the one you get when you defeat Hamidon at the end of mission 4 of the LGTF. Make it unlockable at L30 when you do your Aura mish or else a bonus for achieving 50.
Thus you could then have 2 auras, with one for example as: electric body or electric eyes and the second one as the Hami aura
