Further update: Unfortunately for bad timing, there will be NO live shows on the 26th, as it is Thanksgiving in the United States. Thus, the next show will air on Dec 3. Apologies again, and thank you for your patience.

We are back on track! We have the December 3rd show recorded, and are set to air. A reminder, thsi show will include reviews on:

Nikalarus - From the Nadir to the Apex
Venture - Splintered Shields
Killbot 5000 - A spanner in the Works

And with the arc's picked out for our next show, the queue is empty once again, so now's the time to start sending in more arcs for review.

The queue is still empty. We can't do a show without anything to review.

I'm going to go ahead and toss this out here. I dunno if MI has before, but I'm not reading the whole thread, I've got zombies to get back to killing.

Oh yeah the point. Aside from needing your arcs for us to review, please continue to submit em folks like MI said, without your arcs, there is no show. That was alot of commas. Back on point. If you would like to join us for a week as a guest reviewer, get ahold of me, or MI and we'll make it happen. It appears to me that many of you here not only enjoy your own work, but that of others, and some of you already write up reviews here. So why not join us for a week? If your interested you can PM MI, or me and we'll let you know just what you'll need to join us.

Hmm. I'm trying to play the archive version of the show (Firefox froze up repeatedly when I tried to listen live) and all I'm hearing is a doorbell sound for a couple seconds that transitions into some slow-mo Exorcist-style growling. Do you have an alternate download site for the archive?

Final Straw, DM/Regen Scrapper
Solari, Fire/Fire Blaster
Real Americana, MA/SR Scrapper
Task Force Timmy, Grav/Rad Controller
Astral Paragon, Spines/Regen Scrapper
Mr Drama King, Katana/Regen Scrapper
Psi-Stunner, Psi/Mental Blaster

I was able to get the archive to play in RealPlayer; both iTunes and WMP choked on it. The file appears to be over 10.5 hours long. I picked spots at random and found a very choppy track of my arc's review ("Splintered Shields") at about the 9:15 mark. It sounds like you guys (and your PUG-mates) liked it.

Edit: the volume was very low as well, had to max out my system volume to hear it.

Damn, I was afraid of that. There were issues during the live feed, our stream cut out a couple of times (I believe it's been resolved). I'll make the same offer I did when the Archives were down, if any of you want to hear your audio file, PM me an e-mail address and I'll try to send it your way.

I got to listen to the archive of the show with no technical issues. You were very lenient on my first effort, A Spanner In The Works. I admit it is full of newbie mistakes and I've learnt from them.

So, I have submitted;

  • Enter Japes, ArcID: 96001
  • In The Darkness Creeping, ArcID: 347709
You'll find them early to mid-level range short adventures on a much less grand scale. Your heroes will need to keep their wits about them as they investigate a new villain group on the scene in Paragon City and delve into the Dark Arts with dangerous consequences.

I look forward to hearing your reviews.

First, thanks again for the fixed audio file, and the good review.

The last Big Bad is supposed to be an AV, subject to difficulty level and scaling. I have no idea what you have to do to get AVs to spawn as such now -- it may be that you have to have "Fight AVs as AVs" selected in the leader's difficulty regardless of team size.

Normally I wouldn't throw in another one of my arcs so soon but since you say you're low, I just filled out a form for #126582, "Two Households Alike".

Thank you both for the submissions. I'm working with someone to get a visible queue list up. Perhaps if folks can see how likely their arc will be up for review I can get more folks submitting.

As far as the AV/EB thing goes, I'm about to set up a thread in Player Questions, to see if anyone knows the answer.

That sounds cool, I might do that some time.

I'm sure everyone here will be really interested in my opinion.

I tried to download last week's program and it seems as though there is significant slowdown of the audio. Sounds like an old 45 LP played at like 16 or so. I tried it on both WMP and Winamp, but it was the same on both.

Tonight at seven we review:

Captain Skylark Shadowfancy and the Tomorrownauts of Today!

Illpracticed Malpractice

Whack a Mole! Where’s Moldo Edition

The Wretch’s Gift

I'm not sure what to say about that. There were some issues last week with the stream, which I guess were reflected in the archive. Hopefully tonight's episode will go more smoothly.

Oh hey, thanks for the surprise review! Sorry that I didn't submit it properly.

I've tried to find an archive copy of the review so I could listen to it, or even just your archives in general, but all I can find is just one related file in your archives and that seems to be broken.

I'm not sure what the issue you guys were having with custom mob descriptions was about - I just did a test run to be sure and all the Nictus and robot mobs have the custom descriptions that I gave them. The only thing in the arc that uses the default description is when a galaxy transforms into a warwolf (Because I can't customize that).

I guess it was just close enough to the original description that we couldn't tell the difference for the most part.

Meanwhile, we've got a new week's show rolling, which means we've once again cleared the queue. Get your submissions in for (somewhat) rapid turn around on reviews!

I'm a little late but thank you for the review. I'll have to admit that yes I did do Illpracticed Malpractice as a quickie one off challenge to myself so it succeeds in that goal for better or worse.

Tune in tonight at seven for reviews of:

Mercytown

The Grim and the Green

The Long Road Back

Obsolete

And remember to keep sending in those arcs. Our submission queue has a rapid turnover!
