You need to claim them first. Go to your badge tab, and drop down the menu to click on the 'Veteran' tab.
In there, you will find all of your vet badges, as well as temporary ones that include your power selections, respecs, and costume token claims.

I don't think it was like that when I hit 6 months, but that was a while ago, and I had stopped playing for a bit.

So, I just got my badge for my 9 month veteran status. However, I didn't get the costume change and respec that go with it. Is that no longer available? If so, is there a new list of what goes with what veteran rewards other than the one on Paragon Wiki?
