MA: Is it causing inflation?
Wonderful map. Back when I was counting my purple drops, it was ~3x as lucretive as my (Fire/Kin's) Behemoth map.

No not at all, I believe the developers are out to lunch when it comes to the in game economy.

Dark/Shield Build Thread
At this year's Comic-Con, I had asked Dark Watcher if there's was any trend analysis performed of the game's economy and his response was basically "no, not really". I also asked if there was any concern given to the ever-increasing amount of influence and infamy in circulation, and its effects on the market, and he felt that increases to supply in certain areas would help keep prices in check, rather than removing inf from the game.

One other thing to take into account. Minions give 70% of their XP in Inf. Lieutenants give 120%. Bosses give 200%. A LOT of people are ending up at level 50 with 2.5 times as much Inf as they used to, just because they're fighting bosses most of the way. Also, level 50 chars who used to be able to earn a million Inf/hour in total (counting defeat Inf, Salvage, Enhancements, and Recipes) are probably earning significantly more in the AE. They earn more in Defeat Inf, and the tickets can be worth significantly more. |

Things such as purples and common salvage, have, indeed skyrocketted, but when I compare the prices if im not mistaken of the SP 3's going for 30-50 mil, PS procs going to 15-30 mil, KBs going for 10+ mil, it seems that MA has caused an abundance of things that are common, recipe-wise, while creating a despairity in the amount of common salvage going around and purples dropping. Although the purples are supposed to be "super rare" I think some drop rate tweaking would be in order, apocs have gone up 300 mil from prices before MA.

The issue isn't really the rate, if folks don't run content where purples drop they don't get purples.
