Beats me. Right now, it seems half the servers are down (Virtue, Champion, Justice, Guardian & Protector), but the others are up.
Publish does mean a patch - it can be anything from a little hotfix to an actual Issue.
Some of the downtime will probably be for general fixing of the servers, and the rest will be for applying the new patch.

I figured I'd try to get the base rents taken care of, but the servers I normally visit were down before the scheduled time.

I'm dying to make a radiation blaster, already made/saved the costume...
It's not Issue 16. Beta hasn't even started yet.
Probably just a normal bug fixing patch. In fact the latest training room patch leads me to believe this is just a fix for leveling pacts.
It's the patch that has been on the training room for a while. I'm looking forward to a certain fix. You may know the one I am talking about. wwwwqqqqqqqqdddddsssssssOr not.
However, with this patch out of the pipeline, and no new ones to Test recently...and "I16 to Training Room after Comic-Con..."

I recently received an e-mail that offered me ( anyone else who wanted to do it ) the chance to be entered in the closed beta for I16 if I stayed subscribed from August 15 through November 15. From this, I understood that closed beta would not start until after November 15. I no longer have that e-mail. Did anyone else get that and did you understand it to mean something else?

Since the chat file does keep a record of the colors you set reloading it will reset it to the colors you want, so, you can use this workaround.

I16 is not Going Rogue, as stated many times by Posi and BAB.

On test a new build (patch) was put in on 7/20 and updated on 7/27 some small fixes to varius things like emotes, pvp rating, chatt bug (you know the one "1010101010 27 blaster lft" bug) lol
It is probably this patch beinng applied today

Now time will tell if this is the real thing, or if Zoot's been lighting the Grail-shaped beacon again.
Starting at 7:00 AM Pacific Time (10:00 AM Eastern Time) on Tuesday 8/04 all live North American servers for City of Heroes will be brought down for maintenance and publish.
We expect the downtime to last 2 hours but please allow for early release or an extension as necessary.
