Didn't get a chance to double xp this weekend but I did successfully activate Project Purity and help clear up all the water in the Wasteland. Was kinda hoping Fawkes woulda stepped up there at the end and taken one for the team but....oh well.

Meh...feh...bleh! Woke up early to try and sneak in an hour or two of playtime before I had to get chest x-ray for pre-surgery testing..Team was SOO screwed up..over an hour and 3 bars of xp....full team too..i dont mind AE if youre running stories or story arcs or want to test a build or practice a build..But wtf? 'Lets farm lvl 54 bosses???' Most people auto-skd to 50 DONT have the necesarry (sp?) skils/powers to adequately deal with that. Yeah the xp per kill is through the roof but what about xp per minute? Thats where it becomes nonworthwhile. Oh well its done..Somehow I figured this was going to be a leass than spectacular 2xp weekend. My last one was so friggin awesome I knew this one wouldnt even come close..But still, nowhere near that. Ok enought alk of theis past weekend.

Morning all. Up a lot earlier then I had planned. Forgot the cable company was coming out to fix a mistake they made in the first place. Plus they had the nerve to send the same tech that screwed it up after I requested a senior tech. Gah I'm in a foul mood. Think I need pamcakes and lots of em.

I had a crazy busy weekend. To many things happening that had to be done this weekend only. First double experience. I made some pretty decent progress on a new character... that I probably won't be playing now. I made up a character for this new static villain team, but someone else has a similar concept, so I went with an alternate idea, but not before spending most of what time I had on the first character.
Then it was also an Aion beta weekend. I was kind of meh at first with the game, just like pretty much any other fantasy MMO in structure. But the places where it deviates from the norm really shine. First of all, it's beautiful. I mean amazingly jaw droppingly so. Once you get past the first couple areas it really gets fantastic. It effectively uses short cut scenes in game to set up special events very nicely, like your Ascension. It would be annoying if every time you went to your trainers you had to see a dozen people having their special moment, but handled with the cut scene everyone gets to be happy. It really succeeds in the little ways while feeling comfortable if you're used to playing MMOs of the western feel. Now if only they would drop those annoying player AFK stores, where anyone can plot themselves down with an inventory of things to sell and keep hawking their wares without being at the computer, so they remain for hours and hours. It's not a bad idea in theory... but in practice any well traveled public area quickly becomes packed wall to wall with people trying to sell crap.
And then of course, work. Way to much work because of the first of the month. And still not done with that. But once I am.. It's Mothership Zeta time! *plays creepy theramin music*

I was rather surprised at the ending which allowed me to talk down the bad guys. No gunplay at all which I was kinda shocked by.

Do you mean in the Purifier, Rooky? My first time though I succeeded in that challenge too, but shot Autumn anyway. Jerk killed to many people to just walk away from it all. It was a suprise though. I haven't even bothered chatting with him since that first try, but that character was always the sort who tried to deal with situations through peaceful negotiation first.. Then when that didn't work I got out the shotgun for some 12 gauge diplomacy.

Morning (barely) peeps. Only had one real day of double expeeing, but got 12 levels on an old warshade while teaming with a bunch of old friends and being silly.
Otherwise feeling very icky, but finally have a reason for it, and a shiny new reason to hate my doctor of the past 5 years...about 2-3 years ago I started noticing little things like getting really tired and achey joints for no real reason. Went to my doc, no tests done, told me I needed more exercize...carry on, rinse repeat until I change jobs, insurance and doctors aside from the aches and fatigue getting worse.
Met my new doc, he did full bloodwork...turns out normal people have vitamin D levels around 32-100. If it gets below mid-high 20's you can start getting aches, fatigue, depression...stuffs.
Mine's 9 
Gonna take a few years til I'm up to normal, but at least now some of what's wrong was found and I no longer have a useless quack for a doctor..so I say YAY!!!
