Invincible Quaterfield #2 - Sat Aug 8th

Freedom Phalanx is entrusting us with some of the most serious tasks imaginable. The Shadow Shard is downright dangerous, though there are aspects to this dimensional plane that are awe inspiring. Unfortunately, exploration teams have gone missing, and we've been asked to investigate the cause of these disappearances. We'll begin by thinning out the numbers of the strange Rularuu creatures, then proceed to Point Foxtrot where the last science team sent their distress call from.

Notes:

1. This is a task force challenge series, where both teams will seek a reasonably high difficulty level, depending upon the team composition.
   
2. We do not generally speed run these adventures, though we do seek to make good time and enjoy being in the story.
   
3. When doing a higher level challenge, the team lead needs to be in the zone before anyone enters the mission. Otherwise, the mission difficulty will default back to Heroic.
   
4. For team composition, the suggestion is to have 1-2 tankers, and 2-3 blasters for AoE crowd control. However, we will not blindly attempt a difficulty that is beyond the team makeup. When unsure, we begin at Tenacious and gradually increase the difficulty.
   
5. For Teams Two and Three, it is asked that there be a tanker for each team to provide good aggro management.
   
6. The Shadow Shard task forces are the longest set of missions in the city, and we'll be doing these in a single sitting with an hour break for supper. From experience, eating supper helps to maintain a good team mood. Including supper, this task force should take seven hours (at most).

(I also have a back-up character if it would work out better for the team - Isotope 167, level 42 Rad/Dark defender. I can play either of them, I like them both. Depends on whether the team would function a bit better with Iso's debuffs or Maurya's blasts. Either way, I get to blast stuff.)

Though If I can get my PB to lvl 40 in time I may play as Marcus Hamilton instead.

Okay, now I just checked my Calendar and I won't be able to stay the entire time, or even half the 8 hours. But I want to at least try this, and who knows I may be back in time to finish up. I also will most certainly play as Golden Speedster.

I'm so sorry, but I won't be able to make it this afternoon. Some out-of-town friends are stopping by this afternoon (this is a spur-of-the-moment decision on their part) and we really do want to spend this time with them. I will be back next Saturday.

I'm sorry, I couldn't make it at all. Alot of stuff happened, mainly my Room mate decided that this was the day he was bug bombing our place and I had to get out of there.

So how did it go?

Long, though I think both teams were in good moods. Next time, I'm going to hustle my team a bit more in the early missions, I think.
