Temporary Dev/Mod Digest

Links finally fixed! Thanks to Devian for figuring it out.

Just remember there is a 15 second timer for searches, and that's what each link is: a search of that Dev's/Mod's posts.

Note: Previous links weren't working because vBulletin saves searches with sequential id# rather than with a static url for about 10 minutes, then that URL is no longer working.

I doubt any of them would post before the Digest gets fixed. They are all rare posters to begin with. If anyone sees them do so, just link their post here. This is very temporary.

Oddly, only the links for Castle and BAB show any results. And I know that TheOcho has posted as has Avatea. I think Niviene has. No clue about Positron.

EDIT: could you include the steps you used to get the search results? I've had ... interesting ... results with some name searches.

Most of those links don't work.

Edit: Found a solution, but not as elegant. The links take you to their user page, and from there, you can click on all their posts. The problem was that a search in vBulletin returns an URL with a sequential ID#. This means that the same search returns differing urls, so there's no way that I know of to post a static link to a search result that works for everyone. Thus, this workaround.

Okay, these are the steps I used.

Click Search.

Select Advanced Search.

In the Search by Username section, start typing the name then select it from the list that drops down. Make sure that Exact Name is still checked.

In the Search in forum(s) section, select English and make sure that the check mark is still in the box to search child forums.

In the Show Results As section on the lower left, select Posts.

Click Search Now.

Let's see if these come up any better for others than the other links did.

EDIT: Well, saw Z_M's edit after I submitted my post. Dang.

Now now, let's not blame the new forum software. I've already learned some neat stuff we can do with it.

Hopefully, they'll get a chance to add some nice mods for us, maybe some new Styles that are a bit more pleasant or at least give us more options, some new configuration options and other goodies.

I have a slightly more elegant solution. You can add all the devs as contacts. Then just click on UserCP, Contacts & Friends, and they are all listed there.

Then you can click each name, go to Statistics, and see all their posts.

If you go to the Contacts & Friends page you can add new contacts by simply typing their names into the "Add a member to your list" box. The system will auto-match names as you type, making it really easy to add all the devs. Just resist the temptation of adding them as "friends".

Bah, coming in here being all Fabulous by giving us solution that are easy to implement.

It's too bad the search-by-name function doesn't allow you to use conditional operators. That would be too easy

OK, so its not just me that can't access the Dev Digest or Community Digest? After speaking with NCSoft support I was beginning to believe it was me, since they told me those two forums were working fine and that it was my cookies that were screwed up. Didn't know cookies would allow you to see the html code of a site or that they would constantly send you to 404 pages.
