I dunno, the pictures are kinda big for smilies.
Issue 16 made me feel like this.

There's enough graphic "garbage" already, no need to add more to it, thanks.

Ah, but avatars I have no problem with: they're limited both in size and dimensions. The stupid signature images however aren't. And therein lies the problem for me. If only there was an option to disable images only in signatures it would be awesome. As is: adblock, adblock, adblock...

Ah, but images in sigs ARE limited in size and dimensions!
From the bottom of the sig editor:
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 600 by 120 pixels or 146.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Hmmm... Someone posted some big pics in another thread, and they were resized, made into links, and had the full size listed under them... I thought it would do that for sig images, too.
I also thought that the limits on the uploaded also applied to the images placed into the sig.

Apparently, they don't.
I want to be able to see the signatures, just not the images people put there. And I want to be able to see images the Devs may use for announcements. Unless there's some other option I'm not seeing: the ones I have are Show Signatures, Show Avatars and Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code), there's no way of doing this, as the last option disables all images, not just the ones within the signature. Were that the case and I would have said nothing about them.
