Ahhh, thats why... Thanks Kheldarn, very much. I was thinking I was doing something wrong, and I have been getting very upset with these new forums.
I don't mess around on other forums, so I am not familar with this thing at all. I only use CoH forums, thats it. I don't do anything on a computer all but play games and use these forums, thats it. I don't have time for anything else, so I am not famillar with other forums or sites really. I'm not a web surfer.
I just noticed LJ doesn't connect how it did on the old forums O_O!

I've only ever used a simple gif program where I'd have to do that manually, so I be curious!! : )

I agree that ginormous signatures are extremely annoying. I rather liked that you couldn't do the signature images on the old boards.
Bayani, your signature images are what I think of as the perfect size for a sig image.

Animation is another horror of sig images. Not necessarily Beef_Cake.... but it opens the door for ones that flash at very annoying speeds and colors.
Basically, I think there's much more ill that comes with them than good.

Just a little fun with Image Ready, its actually simple. I made that banner a year ago, I've been using it on the vidiotmaps forums for a while now.

well then, I guess I will stick to fancy shmancy fonts cause my sig ain't got nothing on half the ones here lol
You'll be fine. You don't need artistic talent to throw a few images together and call it a sig. Case in point: I was able to do it.
Whatever image editing program you use, make sure you learn about layers. That's the real secret. As long as you know about using layers, you can do almost anything.

I can make a new smaller one, with a line work on a transparent background, so that only the color of the post shows, or match the color of the Hero side, sorry Villains.
Hmmm... off to experiment.
