M.A publishing
I see your point but the amount of days would need to be lowered a LOT otherwise people would lose interest in it very quickly.

I.E once you publish something you can't touch it for 31 days.

31 days unable to tweak things based on suggestions, remove typos, change something that doesn't really work?
I'm not sure Slaz, perhaps you meant, 31 days before you can publish *something else*, ie. from scratch.
There's a lot of arcs, I must admit, but I don't think this is a solution, as I don't really think it is a problem, personally
Sorry buddy,
/unsigned
I'm so so sure, My arc had to be a two parter, If I had to wait any period of time between posting the two, people would lose interest before the second part came out. And I spent 3 days making that thing!
Edited for /unsign
But you can publish 3 at any one time so you can have you two parter or even make a tri, but after they are published you can't touch em for 31 days.
And Xem mate tweaking things isn't that what test is there for?
You can get someone to join you on test to tweak if you want someone else is input, without having to publish.
I normally go for missions on date preference, and put on serarch filter to knock out previous completed missions, I did a mission the other day and got a big case of de ja vu, yep you guessed it somone had unpublished and republished ,thus my search filter has become null and void and ended up repeating someones mission instead of trying someone else's.
Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.
Slazenger, Area51, Area53, Area54, Erruption, Mind Plague, Thresher, Sheath, Broadside, Debt
I misunderstood what you said, now I've reread it and understand what you mean, I have to say that I still dont like it.
I think the reason for 31 days, is basically without shouting out and begging people to try your missions you can have probably no one looking at your missions, and really the only way to start out getting noticed is by date order, which at the moment will only last about 5 minutes before your mission gets lost again in the infinite amount.

Well, I don't think it's really anybody else's fault other than yours that you replayed an arc. You might wanna take some time to remember that you've played this before.
Anyway, it's not a logical enough reason to allow a suggestion like this. So /unsigned.

I Tweaked a lot in test. however, there are inevitably going to be things that I'm unable to spot that someone else may be more attuned to. 20 votes so far, and the latest 5 have given me some fantastic feedback, and I'm very glad i've been able to touch my arcs and edit them
It just seems to me. like an unhelpful restriction for most, to 'combat' a problem that simply can't be helped

Why should I have to remember what I've done if one of the search features does that for me, might as well not have the search engine.

That's a valid point, but for the simple reason it's not good enough to allow a suggestion like this like I said before.
It's not the amount of missions being posted it's the clunky search system. Fix that and your concerns will go away.

^^ This
Plus, in a week time most people will have published their arcs and get tired of promoting them the way you describe slaz. I think this will be a passing problem.
I feel something needs to curb the amount of missions that keep popping up.
I suggest putting a 31 day limit on published missions,
I.E once you publish something you can't touch it for 31 days.
