'Globalise' Damage levels

however. Superior, IIRC, is not as good as Extreme. Confusing.

Why is that confusing?
Extreme to me sounds a bit more... you know... extreme.
I've never really had a problem with it, it's been a guideline to the powers. And you can now see the exakt damage done down to two decimal places.
Not sure i exaktly get what you mean, but i really don't see a point into changing that. It works as it's intended, a rough guideline.

91+ would count as Superior

All Imoba's powers would do extreme (or in the case of your table, superior) damage then, lowest he pops out is 150
EXTREEEEME
Heh, yeah, looking at Mids with a Fire/Fire blaster, the rough table I drew is probably woefully inadequate.
It dunno, it just seems odd to have an attack for tankers, which says minor and does minor, then a blaster power which says minor but isn't, really. Maybe its just me
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

A global table with permenant values, such as 91+ would be inadequate, since damage values rise with levels.

Make it a percentage relative to level, then.

To be honest I think it's fine the way it is.
I dont need to kow how my defender powers compare to a blaster, it's not all that relevent to my power choices.
Over 9000.

I do and it is to me.

Are you saying you wouldnt, for example, chose fire arrow because the blaster version of it is superior?

I'd decide whether the difference between Defender and Blaster versions was enough to influence whether it was worth choosing a defender rather than a blaster, when choosing what AT I want for a new character, for example.

Why not just look at the numbers?
The title is a bit strange, but the idea itself is simple enough to explain.
When looking at powers we all know that some have minor, high, medium, superior, etc etc.
Some of that is a bit vague, however. Superior, IIRC, is not as good as Extreme. Confusing.
Also, and the main point is, what is Minor for one AT is NOT Minor for another AT. An example, for sake of arguement, Tier one ranged attack on a Defender and the same attack on a Blaster. Now, the Defender damage could safely be said to be Minor. On a Blaster, however, the attack is only minor in scale to the rest of the set.
Well, thats fine and dandy, but it often gets somewhat awkward.
Would it or would it not make things easier to have the damage all on a 'Global', i.e. covering all powers, scale?
So, anything that did from;
1 - 20 would count as Minor
21 - 30 would count as Light
31 - 50 would count as Moderate
51 - 70 would count as High
71 - 90 would count as Extreme
91+ would count as Superior
Either that, or an option for a 'global' scale, which could be turned on and off, or something like that?
Just throwing that one out there.
