How to improve dominator energy assault

In my opinion improving dominator energy assault could be achieved by replacing power push with energy torrent and total focus with energy transfer (removing the health penalty, maybe with weakened damage to compensate).

This would both increase the AoE potential of energy assault doms and speed up melee (knocking off over half a second from the big hitting wallop).

dose energy assault need improving? it seems a pretty good no worse than the other sets.

I've allways seen energy more of a single target set than a AoE set if you were to increase its AoE damage you would be lowering its single target damage which could harm the sets over all feel.

I don't see the point of removing total focus and replacing it with energy transfer if you have to then nerf energy transfer to make it fit removing the health penilty removes the flavor of the power its you giving up some health to cause huge damage by the time you rebalance the power you'd be as well just leaving in total focus.

Energy Assault is just fine as it is.
Honestly it seems like the most popular secondary for doms.
So why change it?


Now Energy Blast for corrs... Oh boy now that needs a big improvement.(and with that I mean the color)

Energy Assault is actually pretty much the least useful Dom secondary since it doesn't have any unique advantages that one of the other secondaries wouldn't be better at. Even Power Boost is shared with Ice Assault.

On the other hand, it's pretty and shiny. Make the Corr one red, damnit.



Cones are usually present in Assault powersets, though. Maybe replace Sniper Blast with Energy Torrent (KnockDOWN version please). It's not like many people will miss a snipe of all things on a Dominator.
