A soldier build
Some VERY glaring problems.
You lack the main Soldier combo until lvl 44...and I would never reccomend 5 slotting auto-powers. Three or four slots tops.
This is the vanilla set up I use for my Gun-Spider, Drake. Tough as nails so far, and hes only lvl 22.

Now soem questions
dose build up and placate not make you draw the mace. If they don't they'll definitely be in there.
Is pummel a good enuf power to warrant 6 slots i never took any of the melee powers on my road to 24 so have no experience of them.
Build Up draws the mace, just like every other weapon set with Build Up draws the weapon in question when using it.
Not sure about Placate.
Pummel is great.
Placate draws the mace too, as does every power in the bane primary.
I have the Absolute Amazement KB proc in Pummel. Ok, its annoying sometimes, but its funny!

Pummel deserves four slots at the least, the stun is very frequent and very useful.
When it comes to BU and Placate, when used for stealth purposes the redraw aint too much of an issue. Especially with how fast bayonet and pummel are animation wise.

Well bugger no placate and no build up then
Tho considering i cant even get my soldier past the costume creator at the moment there's no danger of me starting it any time soon.

Meh, I specced out of Aim on my Crab Spider, don't miss it.
Build Up on a Bane is much better than Aim on a Crab:
1) BU has a bigger damage buff
2) Banes have more burst damage

Yeah, but I was responding your post, which implied that because Aim isn't so good for a crab, BU isn't a good power either.
Can't have either on a pure Huntsman though. Gotta really on toggles.

been think of doing a pure soldier build as I'm already working my way thru a crab/bane duel build and miss playing my standard Soldier and what with Architect on the way and the ability to lvl up just doing architect content i figured that the perfect excuse for a new toon.
This is the build im aiming for i did originally have Web Cocoon in it but then thought that probablu uses the mace anc i dont want to use the mace

Can any one see any glearing problems with it other than its going to cost a fortune? how do you think it'll do and any advice for those that have allready done Soldier bulds?
