Any advice on WW?
Buy low, sell high.
Find things which have a large thruput (aka they get sold/bought often). Place some low bids, not too low, but low enough you might get em eventually.
Then place for a slight overprice. Impatient people will place higher and higher bids until they get it. But won't go too high on some things i suspect.
1> At low levels sell everything, there's little reason to keep salvage or recipe's at low levels as dual/single origin enhancements often beat the IO equivilent until the 30-35 range. The only reasons you really want to start crafting at low levels is either a) for the crafting badges; or b) for those powers where you simply can't afford to level during a mission and suddenly find that your enhancements have redded out and your power is now useless (I tend to slot my attack powers with at least 1 Acc IO, and in End heavy toggles like Damage Aura's or TK I tend to slot for the End Red when I can)
2> Before crafting recipe's for sale, make d**n sure that there's a market for em, then check whether you'd get more by selling the salvage+recipe, and finally make sure that you're able to get more than the crafting price for it.
It's really annoying to spend 40-50k inf crafting a recipe, let alone the cost of the salvage if you have to buy it, only to find out that it's selling for peanuts.
3> Rare salvage is the only real exception to the 'sell everything' tip. Some of this is selling for huge amounts of inf on the auction house and whilst it might seem tempting at a low level to sell that Mu Vestment or Psionically Charged Brass for a few million, remember that at a later date you might need one of those same pieces and spending several million inf on a single salvage piece, that you yourself sold at an earlier date can be rather silly. Granted, you might be able to get it at a cheaper price, but with the way the markets seem to be going you may find yourself paying an extortionate amount for it. Mid's has a fantastic Recipe viewer that can give you a break-down of all the salvage and crafting costs for the recipe's you have in a build. I'd advise checking whether you need any of the rarer or more expensive salvage before selling it and storing what you need for later use.

Another one is that certain recipes, -KBs, Celerity +Stealth and such, are actually better at low levels. (and some -KBs are pool A, so that's not an academic question even if you aren't fan of merit rolls.) In other words, if price for the recipe/enhancement (and those of similar level) looks too good, (10s M for sub-15 Steadfast -KB), chances are you want it yourself. Of course, everyone knows that, but...
To be as accurate as possible we'll need a bit more information.
What level will your WW toon be? (The higher it is, the better)
Do you know any of the tricks to get drops fast?
How much influence do have at hand to start the "manipulation" process?
Depending on your answers then the response will be different So many ways in which to "get rich quick" in this game that its hard to find the best solution without all the information

But then again you can always flashback and do the Lt Wincott arc trick to get those recipes quickly. A few runs and its ALMOST guaranteed to get you one of those.

Aren't recipes always dropped at team's actual lvl, not exemped lvl? (mnever tested that with exemping, SKing of course does make recipes you get higher lvl than normal)
And (as that 1 billion+50 in a month guy on the US boards noticed) Steadfast -KB is as good in value per merit as random roll, slightly better in fact. Not all toons can slot it though, so, if you HAVE to get Zephyr...

[/ QUOTE ]Recipes are dropped based on the level of the mobs/arcs you're doing.
it can be done but u need spreadsheets and such to make it really worth while 2 weeks ago i made a list of all IS on blue side and turned 60m into 180m in 14days, it is possible but becz the market is borked beyond belife u need to reassess ur targets every 10-15 days (Photonic Weapon i took a 5mill loss on par eg becoz the market changed)
best plan of action is to make a spreasheet full of nice formulae and pray u pick the fast moving profit making IS
and if it looks like your gonna make a loss after 48hrs sell them and take the loss (if things done shift over night its usually a bad bet)

Ok prices of most things have gone up tremendously over the last couple of months. I've heard of people making millions each week just by playing the markets at Wentworths?
Can anyone offer any tips/advice on how to play the Wentworth markets and what they recommend peeps do if they wana make it into a real big influence money maker?
