Ever used a Fire/Kin on an ITF?

Has anyone ever used or seen anyone use a fire/kin troller which is slotted/built for farming purposes on an ITF?

If so how did it get on?
Eg...Did their holds/stuns work?

Yes I have.

And for the most part no...as they use the aoe clear mind thing (shout of command or something?)

They gain an amount of mez protection when they draw their shields, and they also have an AoE mez protection buff - when you see them yelling, it means they used it.

Did a run with three fire/kin trollers built for farming and one fire/kin corr that was normally built. Safe to say that on average my tank only got one speedboost on at a time during the whole TF, despite asking for it and the trolling farmers having it. (We did complete the TF, no problems there) The Corruptor kept it on, no-one else did.

It's not about the build. It's about the skills. So if you feel confident you can contribute in a team where you're facing something else than pratorians and where the rest of the team is something else than people who haven't seen a trainer in 20 levels, you should be doing fine.

Yes, a fire/kin controller is certainly useful on the ITF, but they have to be smart enough to adapt thier tactics to the situation.

I really should do something about this signature.

Thanks for the info - I have gone to the enemy roof tops before during a quiet mid week to see how I get on and considering I had no tank with me to take the aggro, I was abit squishy. However I found with spamming cages and transfusion and if I could survive past the mass spear throwing at me then you can normally take them down.

Would I be true to say that if you have purples slotted in certain holds then not even their shout of command would clear their mind or would I be wrong?

no.
Mez enhancements only affect the duration of the mez. not how powerfull it is (mag).

Not directly true, purples no more enhance the magnatude of a hold than any other enhancement.

However, there is a proc in the Lockdown set which has a chance of +2 mag hold. You can also slot Char with Devistation Chance of Hold which also stacks with your base hold.

Apart from that, slotting your mezzes with as much recharge and duration as possible and spamming them is your best bet for overcoming roman mez protection.

On the ITF though, you are probably best forgetting about trying to mez the romans and focus on buffing your teammates.

Isn't Shout of Command mag 18 or something though...

EDIT: Make that mag 10.4 (Tested it on my fort)

Considering how silly Fulcrum Shift makes the final battle in the ITF, it'll be more useful for the /Kin anyway.
