Only problems are dark armor, fiery aura, martial arts and spines.
Regen and will works with bs/kat.
Think dagar has soloed avs and a pylon on a d/d.
If you want it easy ill/rad troller.
If you already have those alts i would go for BS/SR or Kat/Will
/SR seems to be the secondary of choice paired with a high ST damage primary such as Fire or Dark although other combinations do work.

Be diffrent, do it with shield defense.
DM/SR is better than BS/SR. BS/SR is actually fairly pants as I found out. It has great burst damage but cant keep up with DM/SR. Ahead of both of them is FM/SR and Claws/SR though. Those two would be my choices if I was to make a new SR for AV soloing

Thanks for the big up TRT, I have taken a grad total of 2 AV's with Dagar (DM/DA/BM). Battle-Maiden and Black Scorpion. I had to use empowerment buffs to do it along with a bucket of insps.
My DM/SR is going to be my AV basher when I have the inf for the full build.
I would go for DM over all the rest due to it having a heal as part of the attack chain. If you have enough +recharge (ie perma-hasten) you can go Smite -> siphon Life -> midnight grasp, rinse repete.
All the others will have to use aid self when they get hit (and it will be a when). This can still be iterupted even with the best slotting. Some av's have auto hits or un-typed attacks which can sometimes get through.
Claws and Fire will have higher base dps, but DM can keep a constant stream of attacks up.
claws/sr is the most common AV soloer going.
If you want a challenge, make DB/SR. Entirely workable and a bit unusual.
All of these will need a bucket of IOs though

One of the most successful AV soloers in CoH is Shred Monkey a DB/SR - he's got an expensive high recharge build though.

Why db/sr when you can go db/invul?
You need a lot of recharge for blinding feint->attack vitals though.

i have Fire/sr build planned since with that combo its easy to get high dps and good survivability.
I am tepmted to do my DM/Shield but havent found a build i like yet.
DM/Shield is easy to softcap, but it suffers from having much less resistance to def-debuffs, so agains a lot of things you softcap will fall away quite rapidly.
yes and i cant seem to get sufficent recharge in it without gimping it from normal pve play

My DM/SR expensive soling build sucks for team play as no travel power, 3 mele attacks all ST and nothing remotely team friendly.

i was thinking off super reflexes to be most handy esspecially when slotted but here are some scrapper builds i thought would be good when slotted to solo an arch villain

or

or lastly

if anyone knows if these would be perfect or any better ones then please say
as i am gonna make a future alt to be a solo scrapper
but if anyone knows any AT and the powersets that can easily or easierly solo a AV then still say please
