i have, i fact both, but if you jump straight up and you change direction, you have a delay like fly, double jump will not have that.
Thats called inertia.
changing direction with SJ/CJ is nothing like the speed of fly its much faster.
If you really want double jump get your self the GvE Jump pack it lets you "jump" mid air
There are a few powers that increase or decrease your inertia atribute.
Inertial Reduction, obviously, CJ is another. Stacking those powers on you will allow you to change direction in the air more quickly, either flying or jumping.

i dunno if it's possible in this engine but what about wall tag jump.
you jump, and when you hit a wall you jump from a wall, might be useful in small alley's.
I'd love it. No idea if it's viable, but it'd make my current main a happy bunny.

It's not a case of "imposible", its a case of would take very large resources to implement. The animations alone are a lot of work (not quite so bad for wall jumping as climbing or running perhaps), and you would have to change the way the game engine handles vertical surfaces. Things like 45 degree slopes then become an issue - at what point do you switch from treating a gradiant as horizontal and treat it as vertical?

Yup but just because DMC has air hike its hardly magical infact Air hike is just like difrent version of of CJ/SJ as they both increase your jump hight and alow you to change direction mid jump.

but double jump makes you able to change direction directly, the only con is that you can't jump as high as SJ, the pron is that you don't need to activate it.
