A new poster appears across Paragon.

Billboards appear in major locations, and television advertisements begin to appear, promoting a one-off, special event:

Rock For Rafters
A beneficial concert to aid the Rikti War effort
Saturday December 13th

The concert stage on Talos Island Beach was already being prepared. Joey's plans had finally come to fruition, and he hoped it could make at least a little bit of difference.

((...And that's it! Well, part one anyway. If people want to post IC reactions, feel free Or IC accounts of people visiting...small descriptions of songs can be found on the Union Wiki for most bands, I imagine. If people whose bands are attending want to post a small description of their act, also feel free
And if anyone needs more info about anything involved, PM me...I've left out loads, because I suck at this.

I'll give this a legitimate bump in a week, when I finally get around to writing the "review" of the concert. Until then, have fun! (Please )))

Vox peers down at the poster.

"We're on second? That hasn't happened in a while."

Tapping some numbers into a phone, he nibbles on one of his purple painted nails.

"Mffh, erm, I mean, hi, Ibu? Listen can you get a post on the forum to let people know that we're on second? Don't want anyone who wants to see us missing out.

Thanks."

Putting the phone and the poster down he switches on the 50 inch flatscreen, fires up his X-Box and waits for Lips to load...

Ibuprofen tried to stifle a yawn as the phone rang for what seemed like the millionth time that morning.

"Yes. No, it's not a joke. Yes, it really is THE Sidereal Din. Yes, seriously. Okay. Thanks for calling."

She put the phone down and sighed, before turning to her computer and putting a post on the official site's main page. "Please let them stop calling me," she muttered as she uploaded it.

Morgana Fiolett was on the phone when her fiance Sirius came home with the poster. He spread it out on the table and waited patiently for her to look down.

"Yeah. Oh sure, I mean obviously I'd love to play Glastonbury. Okay. Well send through the details then, and I'll get back to you."

She looked down at the poster and pouted slightly.

"It's gonna be nice to play back home again," she said to Sirius.

"Where everybody knows your name, huh?" he replied, giving her a hug.

Flash smirked having spotted the poster but also because she had also spoken to Joey about it, looking behind her at the group as they were getting set up for a rehearsal she takes the poster down, and walks through to tell them the news...

((One: Several companies in the real world share simliar names, for example there are two game developers called Climax, one based in the UK, another in Japan. Both of them completly unconnected other than being games developers.

Secondly: Last I heard, you can't 'own' a dictionary word, which 'aeon' happens to be. ))

Gemma raised a brow at the poster from her slouched position on her favourite swivel chair, sipping away at a piping hot capuccino in silence. The only thing breaking the silence within the newly-expanded studio being the constant whirring and clicking of four floppy disk drives writing and rewriting data for the past quarter-hour.

I'm proper gonna stick out like a sore thumb her, aren't I?, she thought before quietly smirking to herself, Ah well... not the first time, is it?

Almost immediately the sudden banging and clattering of several plastic objects could be heard from the studio's reception area, followed by a near-hyperactive string of - at Gemma's best guess - Japanese blue language. Gemma chuckled to herself as she took another sip.

"Morning, Ritsuko..."

Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

Friday night:

In a hotel in the heart of Paragon City, a humble receptionist collapsed into her chair, exhausted. They didn't usually get this busy, but in the last week they'd suddenly had people from just about all over the world booking for this weekend, all of them saying something about a charity gig, and almost all of them had arrived today. A whole floor had been booked by a group from England, some kind of fan club apparently, while most of the hotel was full of ... well... quite scary looking people really. Fortunately they had all been surprisingly well spoken and polite.

With a sigh, she pressed a button to switch the sign out front to "No vacancies" and settled down on the internet to find out what and where this gig was, and if tickets were still available.
