Obsidian shield and acrobatics
Acro is purely for KB at least in PvE.
I'd take CJ for its Protection from Imob. Weave offers resistance not protection though, so it just lessens duration

So protection stops an effect completely? and resistance just lessens the time or damage?

Resistance wont shorten the damage, but it will shorten the length of time you are affected by the immobilise effect
Yup, that's pretty much it but bear in mind that Protection has different Magnitudes, hence a Mag 3 Protection will negate the effects of an attack of Magnitude lower than 3, but attacks of higher Magnitude will still have effect on you, that's where resistance factors in reducing the time.
In this case, Acrobatics has a KB Protection Mag 9 and a Hold Protection Mag 2 (iirc, plus resistance), in Dark Armor case, Acrobatics is purely for the KB effect because your Obsidian Shield will give you a higher Magnitude protection against Hold than Acrobatics.
Note that, if needed, you can increase the KB Protection Magnitude on Acrobatics by slotting KB Distance IO's.

Cloak of Darkness also offers immob res and to a much better level than CJ.
I don't have acro on any of the 3 /DA scrappers. The two level 50 ones have 2 steadfasts and a karma each give mag12 KB rez. But thats only possible if you have buckets-o-inf

CJ costs less end IIRC and if taking Acro anyway worth picking up. I run both CJ and CoD on my DA, but then I run CJ on all but two of my toons cause I like the movement it gives

CoD does do stuff other than imob rez. +stealth, +def +perception and a handy place to put defe base sets such as lotg, karma and kismet.
CJ also takes def sets, and travel sets, and therefore takes a +stealth IO. And it costs virtually nothing to run.
All in all, its a mutch better choice, unless you are desperate to avoid SJ and Acro.
I really should do something about this signature.
I have both on my Fire/DA brute and when IOs came out I put a Karma in each cause Steadfasts weren't stacking.
For AV fights I turn CoD off though, that way I have end enough to still be there at the end. Without an expensive build that end saving is a godsend

I'm at the early levels of my DM/DA scrapper.
I noticed O.S. gives me hold protection and acrobatics resistance to hold.
Do I need them both or is acrobatics purely for knockback?
Also combat jumping and weave have resistance to immobilize so whats the best?
