Given its technically a whole different set, and the animations are already there (as shown by the NPCS that use them) is it that hard?

Ah, well, in that sense it'd still be unlikely, as BAB is extremely unwilling to completely change the feel of a powerset (in terms of animation)

Could be to do with the shield power set coming out. Anything that is two handed is compatible with it

Thing is, the animations/powers w/e they are, are *already in the game*. The NPCS use them. All you have do is annoy an NPC Bane Spider and you can see them use them. Is there no way that the devs can apply that to the powers used by PC Banes? Otherwise, aside from the ranged powers, it simply feels like we're playing a standard mace goon.

Perhaps the reason player bane mace is one handed is to be compatible with the Black Scorpion mace powers? Do the two maces show as separate weapons in costume screen on a VEAT with BS patron pool?
But then, all the patron mace powers either shoot, launch grenades or summon, so I'm not sure if it counts as one handed anyway.
I do not suffer from altitis, I enjoy every character of it.
A quite minor suggestion;
Hows come the animations for mace and the Bane mace are exactly the same? I mean, we see NPC Arachnos use two handed swings all the time, so the animations are there...and yet we seem to get something exactly the same as the regular mace.
The other half of minorness is the noise. Given the ammount of choice we have with weapon customisation, it doesnt really make sense for a baseball bat to make the same sound as a massive spiky facebreaker.
