Having been unable to attend any of the player meets so far this year (aside from Omega Sektor), Norwich is not an insurmountable distance for me to travel. As long as the date's good (and the Norwichites will have me) I'll try and make a trip up there. So yes, count me in.

Dante: If you wish to come, then sure! The date would probably be in the aerly part of October, or the early part of November. Definitely not the weekend of the 18th October, or the weekend of 22nd November, or any time after that.

That's the one, yup. I don't actually know of any other gaming cafe in Norwich. If there is I'll be most surprised! Plans for eating and having a drink afterwards... well, there's a couple of food places in Chapelfield's plaza, I think there's still a Pizza Hut on Red Lion Street, just at the bottom of St. Stephens, but I haven't been there since... *counts* 1995. Wow.
And if anyone is crazy enough to drive up to Norwich, there's a Premier Travel Inn and a couple of hotels on Prince of Wales Road, I think the room rates for a single from 40-60ish a night.
There's always Linton Travel Tavern.

Sounds like a great idea.
Norwich is a little far from Coventry (just checked 4 hrs on the train 
) so I don't think I'd be able to make it.
However, I do hope its a roaring success, good luck with everything.

There's always Pizza Express, in the forum. I have a load of Buy 1 get 1 free vouchers for main meals, so we could go mad and have nice meals for cheap! Believe me, I've got plenty You get them on the back of cinema tickets here in town, and my crowd go at least once a week, so we have plenty!

Alright, just got an email back from Battlenet. The manager would like to know when, how many, how long and all that sort, can offer a discount on group prices and depending on how long we're there for, and with a few days notice can get CoH installed on the PC's.
They've got 16 units there, and they did say there was room if people wanted to bring their own.
Here's a list of dates, so if people could confirm/deny them as being of interest, we can whittle away the no can do dates and find a definitive one.
October:
Saturday 4th, 11th, 25th
November:
Saturday 1st, 8th, 15th.
I can do all of those, so put me down as a definite.

) There are two or three of those dates when I might be in London so its only a couple of hours on the train up North so Ill try my hardest and see if I can make it as well.
(I can then keep old Mereman company in the corner as long as theres none of that thump thump music, and Wilfreds picy is still bothering me(those fingers), so I might be scared off. )

How does November 1st sound for the Norwich Player Meet?
Hey ho folks! Just a quick post before I go to bed, having struck late night inspiration while playing Dungeon Runners.
I know we've got a few forum goers that call Norwich and the surrounding area their own, and the idea was raised in the past about a player meet here, but lightning has struck again, so... who'd be interested in it?
I've just sent an e-mail off to one of the local net gaming cafes... well, the only one I know of, so may have some more details then, but I was thinking a saturday, just chilling from 10am-6pm at the place enjoying some gaming before heading off to a place to grab a drink, some food and have general chatter more or less.
So... anyone interested?
