Welcome to the nominations for August's Creative Genius!

Please use this thread to nominate submissions for the Creative Genius award for the month of August 2008.

Please be sure to familiarise yourself with the guidelines for the Creative board and the Creative Genius competition before making any nominations - you can read them here.

These nominations will remain open until 6pm GMT on Friday, September 26th. The winner will be announced on or before Friday, October 3rd.

To nominate a submission, please post a link to the appropriate post.

There are some important rules to bear in mind when making nominations:

If you nominate more than one submission, only the first one will count.[*]You may not nominate your own submissions.[*]All original submissions first posted to these boards in August 2008 are eligible for nomination, regardless of what form they take.[*]Only nominated submissions will be considered for the Creative Genius award.[*]If no nominations are received, there will be no Creative Genius award for August 2008.[*]If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, please post them to The Creative Board and Creative Genius. This thread should only be used for nominations, and any off-topic posts will be removed.[/list]

Every month it’s a difficult choice. I’m thinking of getting more accounts just so I can nominate more entries.

This month I’ll go for Dark Transcendence by Abbzy as the description in the story are excellent.

Thanks StarScreamer, while I do love the fact that I’ve got a nomination it is only right that I point out the nomination should be from the previous months work and those stories were from a few months back.

Obviously you could nominate me for my submission last month, if you think it’s worthy, but my honour behoves me from linking to it for you (my excessive self promotion does appear to have limits ).

You could, but if I were you, I'd wait until next month when it can be nominated for the September CG and it has a chance instead of being disqualified for August due to posting date.

Ummm, wow im amazed.

Thanks for the suppoer leighB, i apologise for the delay in an update, im currently abroad for work purposes, but am in the process of getting part 2 beta'd at the moment and hope i am able to get it posted soon
