I think Globey kinda brought up something that I feel isnt really taken too seriously and it worries me.
sure enough this is supposed to be fun but lets not ignore the competitive aura that pvp brings along. this is exactly why its my perspective that almost all of the participants have been circling this thread like pvp vultures, intentionally waiting to the last day to register so as to avoid "suspicious" actions like the ones we are witnessing.
i'm not tryin to jump the gun or anything. i just dont understand how u can make "mistakes" like all the character changes i'm seeing in this thread.
i find this very hard to swallow seeing as the ample time that was given to gather a team and finally register. this takes planning, organization and most of all, communication. no doubt some of us have even been practicing as a team. so the last thing that is gonna happen is to confuse a toon.
but then again these are all my assumptions.
personally i hope in the future we arent dealing with more of these instances as CoH is already a rock, paper, scissor situation. everybody just needs to stick with what they have and do their best and quit lookin over to the next team. just do you and let them do them and we'll see how it turns out.

KS + others, could you guys please make a new thread stating the match timings and include the draws (ohh and also lock the thread!) so that it'll be easier for everyone to view instead of jumping back a load of pages again. Thanks for your help so far.
I'm going to have to say that I disagree. I've got a lot going on with studies and relatives visiting and I've barely had time to talk to my teammates, let alone play or practice! I could easily have made a mistake with the team names or characters when posting. For some people this is just a bit of fun, and we are only human, mistakes are sometimes made.
Was there any other significant team changes other than Max's? Pardon me if I think people are being a bit paranoid, but how is Max supposed to benefit from all this? I'm not really sure what the drama is about since GR already made it clear that Max is breaking the rules by changing and it's been placed in the hands of the opposing captains, namely Globey - Something I'm sure Max isn't too keen on.
Well I have made a noob mistake and be shame if team has to suffer by being at a potential disadvantage. Im sure Globey knows its not tactical and we will just have to wait and see if he or anyone else objects. Regardless sooooo looking forward to some action now!!!

tbh, apart from one instance, the only thing that has been changed is a couple of toon names because people got it wrong (myself included) the sets didn't change one bit and the exact toon that was registered is being used. I really can't see an issue with this. After all, as Slitty says, people have RL issues to deal with first which can lead to communication issues. That's certainly what happened in my case and it was nothing devious.

Because our team leader hasn´t been seen for about two weeks, we are sorry to say that we dediced to replace him. This means that @weed (303 Child/Defender) will constantly be replaced by @Danny (Egypt Cat/Defender) and from now on I will take the lead on the German Psychos. We are sorry about this decision but it is the only way for us to participate in X4.

Raising the same issue about this as Globey raised about Max's team. Switching teammates isn't really something I want to see this late after the registrations.
When you registered your team, your team leader had already been gone for a week.
Leaving the handling of this matter into the organizers' hands, but protesting against such a late team-mate swapping as it seems awfully calculated to me.

As the contest hasnt started same rule as the max situation applies.
If a protest is lodged the switch goes ahead but will count as the teams sub for every match.
If no protest is lodged the switch goes ahead and the team are free to use a sub later on if required.

We waited as long as possible for him to return, that's why we registered even though we hadn't heard from him for one week.
And for the record: the defenders have the exact same sets, this surely isn't a tactical choice but our only chance to participate

So there swapping a defender for a defender.... Seeing as no-one knows for sure what powersets each AT is in every team how can this be a calculated plan?
Now if on the other hand it was an AT swap to a Corruptor then i'd possibly agree with your objections but it's not.
As i see it, it's a couple of friends that are trying to take part in an activity that have been let down by their leader (which i imagine there's a very good reason for) so why moan about someone trying to take part in some fun?

If I'm allowed to assume this part. Quick asked me if i would vouch for the same powersets of Danny and Weedy and here i am. I can say that the sets are the completely same. I hope that this can help.

Hello, my Team "PillePalle Kasperkoeppe" have a big problem because our defender "Schatten Sacarab" (@Sacarab) can´t play tommorrow with us, because his wife has become a baby yesterday-.- and he is all the day in the hospital. So i must change our defender and "Yuvilee" (@Pirotess) play for "Schatten Sacarab" i know that many people don´t like team switches but its a exception and i have sent a tell to Knight Stalker and the team Members from Les Nouveaux Midgardiens. I hope that is ok and we can play tommorrow and have funny matches.

Same as before, your team change goes ahead (good luck to sacarab and the baby).
If anyone objects your change will become classed as your sub meaning you cant use one during the contest.
If nobody complains your change goes ahead and you are allowed a further sub later.
Ig someone can translate that to german (i assume) for me I'd appreciate it.
Note:
Baring extraordinary circumstance (fire, theft, act of dog ((dont ask)) ) this is the last stage that this rule can be used, once the contest starts all team changes will be classed as substitutions.
