Blasters: /Dark Manipulation. A possibility?

Actually they won't just do that. Mental Manipulation has a power or two made for it. Also if I remember correctly the dev's said it was easy to make, thats why it was done. So aslong as the powers arn't too complex they could design a new one or two.

Given that in prowerset proliferation they are trying to save themselves some work, I think "Dark Manipulation" will be based very closely on an existing set, in this case Dark melee.

So, I think it will look like this:

1) Touch of Fear

2) Shadow Punch

3) Smite

4) Cloak of Darkness (without the immob prot and +perception)

5) Soul Drain

6) Petrifying Gaze

7) Cloak of Fear

8) Dark Consumption

9) Midnight Grasp


The OP is wrong about Dark Blast being able to be ported unchanged though. A blaster doesn't want the snipe so early, and I can't see Blasters being allowed a self heal (Life Drain). An AoE stun that does no damage isn't really Blaster primary material either. And Aim aught to go in.

1) Dark Blast

2) Gloom

3) Dark Obliteration (from Soul Mastery)

4) Aim

5) Moonbeam

6) Teneberous Tenticles

7) Night Fall

8) Torrent

9) Blackstar


Edit: Or possibly swap Petrifying Gaze and Teneberous Tenticles between the primary and secondar.

Yeah, Confront would be [censored] for a blaster... because it's only single target, Taunt would be far better
