I'm not sure if the game already offers some sort of mechanism for this (I suspect one of the forum cartel will be able to confirm), but you might want to consider making a post about this on GhostRaptor's QoL thread on the suggestions board.
I don't have any problems with control of the game myself, but I can see how this would be of benefit for others. So, I'll /sign this if needed !
Just spitballing here, but If a mechanism doesn't already exist, perhaps this could be a series of bind commands. Something along the lines of 'interact', although there'd have to be some range & line of sight check involved, I'd guess.

Unfortunately there's no command for interacting with objects. It's a shame, it would allow some quite convenient binds.
Would help when the mouse needs recharging and you HAVE to click that glowie too....happily /signed

Thanks for the feedback I have added a post to the QoL thread and I am hoping for something positive. This game is possibly one of the best I have ever played and even though it is ticking on old age as games go it is still an active past time that I will be playing for a long time to come.
The Devs have made this a great game and continue to add quality to it and the community even though it has a few bad apples continues to be the best I have met in game and in person at the meets. I really hope that they can add these accessability options as I know that if I have these troubles there are probably many more that have similar frustrations.

If you have a program to turn joystick inputs into mouse clicks or keypresses, one thing you should be aware of is that Control and Alt are 'chord' keys. If two of your joystick buttons are mapped to Ctrl and Alt they can allow you to access more powers or interactions by using combinations.
For example, I have an XBOX controller and I use Alt on the left trigger and Ctrl on the right trigger. Using the six buttons on the right of the pad, I can activate eighteen powers on three trays. I use the D-pad to target and the sticks to move and steer the camera. The two buttons on the left toggle the navigation window and (with Ctrl and Alt) allow use of the first three columns of inspirations.
Hi, just wondering if anyone knew of any keyboard commands for clicking glowies and mission doors (typical mouse functions).
I have peripheral nerve damage that makes using mice and trackballs painful. Using the keyboard is not a problem as my hands sit in a comfortable position that doesnt cause flare ups.
I have been doing some google searches and have seen many devices for carpal tunnel and arthritis but they still follow the same hand positions that cause me problems.
I have found a proggie called joy2mouse that will let me use an analogue stick as a mouse and is quite comfortable but lacks the number of useful buttons i could use (has 12).
Are there any commands that can be used or perhaps the devs might be able to add commands like these to make the game more accessible?
