Scrapper set

Ok i have posted here before about which scrapper defencive set i should have.
I would like something challenging and teamable, but able to solo a tiny bit at a heroic-rugged level when teams are scarce.
I havent been a fan of scrappers thus far but i would really like to find one i enjoy.
I would preffer one of the following sets:
Defensive- Dark or fire (not WP, invun, SR or regen as i have either tried them or dont perticularly like them)
Offensive- Spines, katana, dark or claws

I am however flexibe and open to suggestions! So if anyone could let me know what they would pick and why or even what a person wouldnt pick and why. Cheers

Spines/Fire for some great AoE damage and survivability, or Spines/Dark for similar (if not better) AoE damage, better survivability and control but possible endurance problems.

Kerensky: this has nothing to do with underwear
Zwillinger: I put on my robe and wizard hat...
Synapse: I had to resist starting my last post off with "Yo dawg!"

Spines/Fire looks Impale and Burn.

He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

DM/DA or Claws/Fire FTW!

I would go for the /DA option. The soft control of OG helps no end.

As for the endurance issue:
Early on, be selective about the toggles and slot them with endredux rather than +rez

Well slotted @lvl 50 my blue bar hardly ever moves, the only time it drops a bit is against end drainers. But as you can get 120 base end and 200% recovery without too many problems it soon fills up again.
