iirc it's been said before that the devs are reluctant to implament frames without animations (it would be like playing in perma Nova form, unable to use emotes)
However, playing a Mu Mystic would be ace, I just can't see it happening anytime soon
It would be ace, but the animations wouldnt change at all, the Mu is no longer tied up (although he has some tied cloth draping off certain parts of the body) so most of the animations would stay the same or be recycled, I have tried using mainly only red tinted electrical attacks so it wouldnt take as much time to create.
basically its a Soldier(ish) looking type with attacks from Electrical Melee/mastery/armour/blast/manipulation. and I give thanks to TenshiYami who helped me think this one up.

One of the main points of a Villain Epic, if it's drawn from Arachnos, is that you play as true to the original as possible. A Mu Mystic no longer bound, is no longer a Mu Mystic...
considering that over a million people have traces of Mu Blood, the 'recruitment' slant that was taken for Soldiers and Widows could be done again, but I'm afraid I disagree with them being unbound, if done at all

Somehow with the MU Mystics I have the feeling that they are no longer completely human and less able to express their free will then the soldiers or the widows. If so, then they would be unsuitable as a player character.
I don't see a problem ith them being unable to express emotes and such. Of course they start with an inherrent travel power just like the Nova with an hover mode for combat situations to preserve energy and gain some defense.
Well, if they are bound, they serve only arachnos, so if they have a few magic cloths tied around each individual limb, it shows they are loosley bound and can express emotions, discisions and ideas, the perfect weapon to infiltrate project destiny

It's a good idea. Problem is that unlike Crab/Bane and Night/Fort, Mus don't have two distinct paths - I'm not sure crowbarring in another stealth AT sub-option is the way forward. For instance I would rather see one path (Mu Striker?) loaded up on ranged attacks, buffs and debuffs; and the other (Mu Adept) slanted more towards holds, immobs, and short ranged attacks.
I'm having difficulty seeing it fit into the current SoA framework and Mu models/animation, not to mention differentiating the starting and two secondary paths stylistically without having to create new concept art.
My main idea for the Mu Specter is that there is a career paths that lead to stealth for both the soldier and widow, I added a Mu stealth one so it fitted in nicely with the current VEAT concept of a mixed character to an Assault or stealth type of character, the Mu is more like Widow to a Fortunata or Bane.

I have felt like theres a missing VEAT in the options be already have, I cant help noticing that its a human type too so it should be possible, I'm talking about Mu Mystics, I have a similar built to the Widows/soldiers for them.
