If you don't have the time right now to run an SG, you can just leave it inactive until you've got the time again.
Ignore the rent, and just let it be shut down.

Its been done before and can't see any problems with it (if inactive). The only slight issue is the buyer is stuck with the original name and cannot change it.

dumb question, but if you cant look after your SG because you havent got time, what use is influence to you? Surely if you have everything, and you have no time to play, then influence is of no use to you??
The best option would to be to promote one of your trusted members and let them run it?

hey guys and gals i wanted to know wot ppl thought about sg leaders selling established sg's for inf by established i mean fully working base with tp to all areas workbenchs ect
i know it sounds like a stupid idea but unfortunally i am a sg leader and i dont play the game enough to run my sg to its full abillity by this i mean its become inactive and i dont have the time due to real life to come on the game and sort it out
so i guess wot im trying to say is would any1 like to buy a estblished sg and if so how much would u be willing to pay for it?
