Power Animation Change
Storm kick... That animation is pretty darn ugly honestly. Now the old one is really cool and if power customisation is ever possible they should bring it back.
definatly, that multi-kick strike form the video rocks, though the old cran kick seems slow, then need to be pretty speedy and fluently animated kinda like u see in the films

Ugh! No!
Don't get me wrong, those animations are nice an' all, but I can't help feeling they'd slow my MA/INV down. At the moment she's a whirling dervish of self destructive violence... slowing her down would pretty much take the fun away.

im with infurnes on this one as we discused in game, i think MA is actuly a lil bit to slow and clumky compared to how those moves would actuly be performed in real life
(speaking from experiance to the most part) i think the whole set should flow together alot more than it curently dose similar to the way DB works at the moment

I musta missed that bit... having seen the animation for the foot based version of flurry my doom siren went off.
I totally agree with it feeling clunky at times, almost like she's reading her next move from a 1970's Teach Yourself Karate manual.
Surely the way to do this would be to have each animation start and end in exactly the same pose?
i never said it's the perfect sample, they can always adjust the timing to match the speed.

and I do agree, the attacks should flow into each other as much as possible.

I liked the old Storm Kick....until it missed
However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator
i agree with inferus and i like the idea of a spinning hook kick for storm kick. the current animation doesn't suit the whole martial art think i wouldn't mind if the put a combo in the anitmation like having a few punches followed by the kick and all the animations in the attack do DMG
I also noticed that the Taser power drom devices was changed, it was a real taser to the hip, now its a flimsy electric wire, and the two toggle powers in Ninjitsu used to look cool, now its just looking side to side and the same animation as boxing, i think they should return most of the old animations back to thier former glory!
A total of 14 of my nerves have been harmed in the making of this post...
imo they should make whole new animations, not recycling any 1 more than aonce, but thats asking a tad too much

ive noticed a few powers being updated with new animations that look really nice, and sometimes sets being modified in activation times to help set it up to fluently kick butt so to speak
just rolled a Martial Arts stalker and got thinking:
these aniations are all unique which is absolutly brilliant, but 1 of them doesnt seem to look the part and fit in with the new activation upgrades...namely Storm Kick.
i think instead it should have a slightly altered animation similar to a spinning hook kick (youtube it if you're unsure of its look)
wots ur opinion?
EDIT: chatting with @Bru on the subject, personally we both agree a full overhaul of the animations in the set to move more fluently like dual blades would rock, but as i stated above id settle for this 1 minimum
