I like this idea. The ability to read a bit more on the SG you're interested in and then leave a message would be good.
I guess either an SG email would have to be implemented or leaders would have to go to the desk to check for messages. I'd be fine with either.

Another one is to send Email or tells to all of the Sg members if you done an event for the Sg there in, so basicly it will send it to there email. Email might need to change for this into a Global email so doesn't matter what toon your on you read all your mail for all you toons in one email. i don't know if this is easy or not. i play the game not make it

Never gonna happen, you'd have too many people moaning it was spamming them with e mails 
So have it as an option, if you're recruiting you can have a message on the SG registry board with your contact details etc. And if you're not recruiting you can switch it off. Its pretty much how the corp recruitment works in EVE, though with more griefing. 
Sending emails to entire SG would be very handy, less so to entire friends lists, I'm sure i'm not the only one who has friends on their lists they have no idea who they are.

Yeah this is the only way I could support this feature. Both of my SGs are just two-man ventures between a friend and I so we have our own storage and TPs - it's annoying enough having to explain to people why they can't join the SG in /tells, without getting emails too

[/ QUOTE ]that is is you let them to have access to your storage, this is for recuritment purpose and SG events announcements. Storage theft is something you let happen by not setting up you base storage access up (which i learned a long time ago).
have the SG register with apply to this SG button is to help people joining a SG either as a new toon or help people or solo in the SG to get there alts in. this could be classed as offline SG invites. the apply to SG button could be turned off and on. but what happens to you base is your own fault as i had some theft a while back and i got no symphony for the storage lost, just told it was game manics and your fault for not setting up storage setting. Yes current storage setting sucks and is beat like a dead horse atm in other Base request
SG events announcements is for as the name suggest announcements, it could be a turn on and off options, but if it off what the point being in the SG if you don't want to help out and have fun IMO

This idea reminds me of the Corporation system in Eve Online, where by you can find information on the corp, number of members etc. and leave an application for membership at any of the corps offices (probably need to be the SG registrars in Atlas/Galaxy/Port Oakes)
