I have a Plant/Thorn Dominator,
If you check mids, you will see that the top 2 thorn powers are both only High Dmg.
But they are High Lethal Dmg+High Toxic Dmg.
Most of the Thorny Assault powerset do Lethal+Toxic Dmg.
(Which would make 2 Minor Dmg into 1 combined L+T Moderate Dmg and so on...)

Stun>immob
For PvE MA will serve you better in the late game due to there being a disproportionate amount of lethal resistent mobs in comparison to smash (which is the second most resisted type but much much less)
Just roll EM.

Spines obvious pro is the range. You needn't get to melee to hit and get kills on squishies. But at high lv PvP those squishies get epic armours and spines dmg, specially at range, becomes a laugh. MA has stuns, which detoggle and makes kills much easier
Hey, thinking of making a stalker, and I'm looking at the MA and spine set.. These 2 cuz they got a nice look and it seems that MA has a bunch of funny thingies to render my enemies useless xD.. Spines cuz of zeh toxic dmg, which is nice and for the ranged powers it provides.. tho what is the better, and yes I'm talking for pvp .. oohh and can spine keep up with the other sets dps wise? noticed it doesnt have a single power dmgrated: extreme or supirior :O ?!
