Actually seeing as how they are 100% rarely resisted energy damage as opposed to massively resisted lethal damage (late game) they are not as weak as you think. Base numbers rarely tell the whole story

A lot of stuff works well with a Fire/Kin. It's like saying "The damage isn't bad when you're at the cap permanently".

Agree with that entirely if Rad ever gets to become a blaster primary Rad/Fire will be a nice farmer, but until then elec will do
