Greetings fellow crimefighters. I am looking for advice from anyone who may be able to help a spine/ref build by the name of Dark Swarm on def server. I hit security lvl 6 and enjoy the job, but if i could get some help and friendly advice on skills to take and things i am able to solo and what not to solo, that would be great. Feel free to give a wave if you see me in Paragon.

Get stamina (from the fitness pool) as soon as possible. You'll need it as a spine/SR.

Thank you. One quick question though, what is sr?

Spines is a very end friendly set..unless your running quills. If I am reading right your a regen because you wrote spines/ref. I definitely think its good to see quills on a regen in pve as you will attract aggro from the squishies so much better. QR + Stamina means you can forget endurance slotting however a little endurance slotting on quills if its always running can prove helpful otherwise just having acc, dam and rechg in the attacks is fine.

With Super Reflexes you want to pick up PB as soon as possible. Your shields you really need are the toggled ones (Focused Fighting, Focused Senses and Evasion) to run these and use your end heavy primary (which spines is ) you'll probably want stamina. To get stamina you need to start selecting powers from the fitness pool. At level 6 you can start buying Fitness powers. Options of Swift and Hurdle then, post level 14 you can buy Health too (always helpful for a scrapper as it increases your regen rate) and then at level 20 you can buy Stamina. I wouldn't take the power Quills until you had stamina because it uses a lot of endurance. To take stamina you need two other powers from the Fitness pool first. On most characters I would take Hurdle & Health but on a Reflexes I prefer Swift because it stacks with Quickness (a power you can pick up that reduces the recharge of all you powers and increases your runspeed)

I personally think Super Reflexes needs all 9 powers except maybe Elude at high lvls if well slotted with sets, but for a regular build all 9 SR powers are required. The attacks are discretional to the player to select the ones he likes best, but as Cynic says, Practiced Brawler is a must at lvl 10 and Fitness pool for Stamina no later than lvl 20 is also mandatory in my opinion.

SRs in that case dont benefit from quick recovery but instead benefit from quickness in which case I'd put end slots in the attacks instead of recharge unless pvp is of the higher priority.

I run from pvp like a big girl from spiders. so no, pvp is not of the highest priority

I agree with everyone saying get Practiced Brawler ASAP.

Also, don't forget you can put enhancements for reduced endurance into your attacks as well as your defences, it really makes a difference on an end-heavy build.
