Way of the Scrapper
I suppose the extra recharge from Quicknesss makes SR even more end heavy
@Jay Leon Hart
Kerensky: this has nothing to do with underwear
Zwillinger: I put on my robe and wizard hat...
Synapse: I had to resist starting my last post off with "Yo dawg!"
Well I did have PB double stacked pre ED and that was nasty with Hasten running I could suddenly lose half my end bar without noticing it.
Mostly my end problems came from being able to spam Touch Of Fear so damned fast

OK, another one - which powersets are the late bloomers, and which are instant-gratification carnage from the get-go?
Iaculus
Let's see...
Primaries
Martial arts: This one is pretty good early on, you get your second strongest attack by lvl 8 and a strong attack chain by lvl 18 (thunder kick, storm kick, crane kick, axe kick)
Spines: This one is a late bloomer, you get two of the attacks you really need only at 26 and 32.
Katana: Katana is also a late bloomer, best attacks at lvl 26 and 32. It is an awesome set after that though
Broad sword: Same as katana
Claws: I've never tried this set but from what I can gather I'd say this set has everything you need by lvl 26 so it's somewhat between a late bloomer and instant go go.
Dark melee: This really shares opinions. If you go by the Shadow punch-smite-shadow maul-air superiority model you can have all that by lvl 6 and go pwn stuff. It is quite a nice set in the beginning levels but gets the best stuff at 18/26 and then the best/worst, depending on who you ask, at 32.
Secondary sets
Dark armor: This set blooms early, you can get everything you need by lvl 16 (dark embrace, murky cloud, obsidian shield, dark regen).
Regen: Same as dark, by lvl 16 you have quite a nice defensive capability and you get your godmode at lvl 28.
Super reflexes: Late bloomer. Proper AoE def only at level 35.
Invuln: This set only starts to shine (literally ) when you get Invincibility at level 28. I'd say it is a bit of a late bloomer

I like DM at level 8 and then again at level 32, all the other sets get really nice in the mid levels, Claws and spines both get their one hit kill crits in the 20s while DM has to wait to 32. But then when it gets its it can also onehit in PvP because of the DoT
Claws is nice early on, and nice at the end, claws is just nice.
The others are fairly well spread with being alright early on then good by the 20s.
With secondaries I's agree entirely. SR Is brilliant post 35, incomplete until then. DA and regen are good from the start and Inv is S&L only until 28 really

Well, as I said in the post I have never tried DM past lvl 4 and claws past lvl 12 that might have caused the mistakes

For DA, I would say that though you can get all your shields you need by 16, it doesn't become truly playable till 20-21 once you have slotted stamina. Before then, it's just painful!
I don't have stamina on my DM/DA.
I find that a slottd dark consumption is enough to replenish my end.
Of course I dont run around with all my shields perma-toggled but choose according to current needs and only during major boss fights do I use my full defence.
As far as primary sets go Claws is great as it gives a steady progression of power unlike the sword sets which dramatically improve in the last two tiers. I found Focus to be a lynchpin power for the set, the ranged knockdown effect combined with a hefty amount of damage makes it an "I wish I had" power. Shockwave at 32 is a handy "Alpha breaker" if you time it right, although its knockback effect can get you in trouble with the rest of the team if used without care for patch effects/taunt auras.

What Steampunk said. Shockwave also may be tricky on a Claws/DA because of the mentioned KB effect since /DA needs foes around to be fully effective.
Yes, I knew it......... well I'd guessed it and damn that's close, almost balanced. Felt like a bigger difference to me but then I was always the SR never the Inv
