That'd be pretty nifty, aye. But maybe it'd be good for 1st, 2nd and 3rd? I mean, we're not talking massive detail, it's a sketch, not MMOArt.
Plus we'd all need digital copies anyway, or decent hard copies, but I don't think that'd be too much of a problem for NC to get around.

Whilst a lot of points Hammerfall has said rings true, I would expect some very strong pentad teams and then the rest. I would still find it fun playing this lot (if was a beginner) and seeing how far can progess. Whilst they might not expect to win, they can expect to still have fun

the trouble is u'd have 95% blasters and 0.001% tanks

Sounds good but obviously people would need to be sensible, possibly the signup involves put up to 3 toons they want to use in order and full up slots that way.

Honestly though, unless there's specific rules against powersets/combinations (which I hate) how many teams seriously would go without an Empath, Thermal or Sonic?

Make that elec/energy blaster (gatling) rad/rad defender and fire/ss tank (seriphimus) and it was my S4 team (+ spines/regen knight stalker and ill/kin mimic).
Admittedly PvP was in its infancy back then but we found spiking worked well especially since we didn't have a healer.
Now days though if you tried that against a balanced team with Res or Def buffs, do you honestly think you'd do as well?
