Peacebringer vs. Warshade
PB - A good cross between and Energy/Energy Blaster and a Radiation Blast Defender (with the energy based attacks, and KB & -Def effects) - throw in 2 self heals, an ally heal, self-rez, unstoppable, build-up and some silly pets. Goos human form damage. The more durable of the two.
WS - If Controllers got Dark, this would be what I expect them to be like. The usual needs a target powers. Apparently the most damaging thing in the game (for ~30 seconds). Definitely better with all 3 forms. Human form not as strong as PB. The more damaging of the two (in the right circumstances).
[Edit] I've only really read up on PBs so I'm probably a little biased... not that I know much about either anyway. [/Edit]

i have a 44 pb and a 23 ws. As far as the difference go pb can solo quite well is more self sufficient while a ws really shines in teams. For a ws I would really recommend triform, my pb is now pure human after having it triform and a pb can really go without the forms while a ws can use them really good (double mire and then nova form to blast everything away). ws powers cause slow while pb powers cause -def. so it really depends what u like more i picked my pb first mainly because i love fly and the shiny colors of the powers =D
PB's (from what I can make out) are far more solo'able and can easily just go around in human form, having Dull Pain and a self heal.
Warshades are far more reliant on teams and dead bodies, while their human form is rather weak, in the low 40s they really shine through and in teams become the most awesome thing ever!
Warshades are very mob-reliant, the Black Dwarf heal needing an enemy, Eclipse needing a mob, Stygian Circle needing dead enemies. While Peacebringer has Light Form, like Unstoppable, a self heal, Dull Pain etc.
Peacebringers are better at low levels, but once Warshades get their pets and big explodey purple powers of D00m, they become Gods amoungst Super-Powered Beings.
"While Peacebringers are like bounty hunters,
Warshades are like killing machines."
That said, if you're planning on soloing, the first choise (Peacebringer) is probably the best for your needs, as it gots some pretty decent (although not the best) melee attacks, 2 self heals and 2 HP boosts (including dwarf).
However, by level 38, your Warshade will be able to cap his damage, his accuracy, and his resistance to everything including toxic and psionic, basically makes this "a flying purple fortress of doom" that can solo an entire outdoor map for 8 people, filled with psionic mobs and an AV (Mother Mayhem, for example).
If you ask me, I liked being a flying purple fortress of doom better than a self healing weak version of blaster...
@Double
Double Flame 50 fire/devices
Double Shade 50 tri-form warshade
Double Light 50 dwarf-human peacebringer
Double Control 50 earth/rad

That is, of course, if you can fire off Eclipse and double before being mezzed or, if mezzed, you come out of it quick enough to still benifit from them.

Playing a PB like a Blaster?? Madness!! Hug a Tank to get your damage buff and, usually, where there's a Tank there's a Defender near by keeping him alive meaning more damage for you!!

In theory. I think I've only ever teamed with one warshade that really impressed me the whole time I've played.

Flying Purple Fortress of Doom sounds good - I prefer teams anyway. Barely played on my Blaster when I couldn't get a team.. So far my WS is L11, and my PB is L5.. I've liked the WS better so far (noticed it around L6), but that might be because I don't have Nova on my PB yet.. Dunno..
both of them are ace fun, as others have said the pb is pretty cool straight out the box but i found my WS taking up to about 20 to really start going places (non nova'd at that point).
im really enjoying my pb at the moment, heck the other day i managed to get it into the top 10 punishers and in the top 10 healers, that was pretty cool fun right there i've found it very diverse and fun to play - the WS was very team dominant character once they were up to speed, real battle shapers.
@ExtraGonk
Hi.
I just hit 50 the other day, and now I'm wondering which of the Kheldian Archetypes I should play..
I've made one of both, but haven't really noticed a big difference yet, other than that my WS has an Immobilize while my PB has one more attack-based power..
I was wondering if someone could give me semi-detailed description of the difference between PBs and WSs - what each one excels (sp?) at, what it's weak at, and so on..
Thanks in advance, Xetrov
