Try Help or a global channel, /Arena's for fightin' talk.
/Arena is just for Arena related issues, always has been but global channels have made that easier.
For finding a team there are global channels set up for it, same as there is for general chat. And the help channel is obviously for help

I think you'll see more use of the Arena channel once the Rikti invasion starts - there's a bit of a lull right now

So when the Rikti Invasion starts, more people will want Arena matches? That sounds like coward talk, running away from fighting the Rikti!!

I was thinking more of it being used for its traditonal role of the server wide chat channel

That is the *intended* role...the traditional role was more of an outlet for spamming needs...

It's used for Arena events too, but there are more casual chatters around than Arena specialists

I stopped playing CoH about a year ago, but the lure of spandex became too great, and I started playing again last week. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, but I've noticed something missing. Before I left, the Arena Chat used to always have people talking about all sorts of things, both game related and not. Since I've been back, I've seen two "wrong channel" comments, and someone looking for memebers for a TF. There's been more traffic in Help.
So whats happened? Has everyone stopped chatting? Or are you all hiding out in a chat channel somewhere? Or is there just something I've forgotten to do that makes most of Arena invisible to me?
