Help, Rad/Rad needs help!
best Tip..... Team alot and Concentrate on debuffing Mobs and Buffs Teammates.
As an Rad/Rad youre incredible in doing that.
3. Attack, *Huge Debuff the Defense of Enemies*
Let the Tank get agro, jump in Fire it off and wonder why absolut all attacks from your team hit
Slot Meta, Team kiss your Feet for this Power.
Try to be an Defender and Use your Powers to help your team, best forget to do much Damage in the Low levels.
GL to you and keep in Mins Rad/Rad are some of the Strongerst Defenders.
Braddack
Yep good advice above..
i think at lower levels try sticking to your ST attacks (Eye beam attack) and debuffing opponenets in teams. Your probabaly getting lots of debt as either - Irradiate is getting u terrible aggro or your anchors arn't well palced and debuffing enough of the NPC's.
try keep to the brutes targets and debuffing auras aroudn him. When you do drop Irradiate in team play make sure your opponenets are so well debuffed when the aggro is thrown your way you'll survive.
Rad/Rad is a great combo and at higher levels you can unleash the big dam attacks till then i'd say reign it in a bit and you'll be fine
If you're getting a lot of debt at L10 with a Rad/ defender, you're definatelly doing something very wrong. Either you're fightning very tough mobs or you're not using your debuffs properly.
I haven't played a Rad/ defender but I hit 50 with a /Rad troller so I believe I can make a few suggestions:
- Grab Radiant Aura, RI and AM pre-L20. EF is uber, but it will drain your End in no time. Skip it 'til L22 (after stamina).
- Slot RI with 3ToHitDebuffs and 1EndRed, AM with 3Rech3EndMod, EF with 2-3EndRed and RA with 3Heal1EndRed and 1Rech if you like.
- I'd grab Mutation, Vengeance and Recall Friend on a Rad/ Defender. Vengeance is a lovely power, and if you're playing on PuGs you'll probably get to use it a lot. Fallen Hero -> Recall next to team -> Pop vengeance -> Mutate Fallen Hero. Fallout is another good option, if you can fit it in your build.
- From /Rad I can't give proper tips, since I've never played it to a decent level. However, I'd bet on AoE debuffage (Irradiate and Neutron Bomb) and Neutrino Bolt and Cosmic Burst for ST damage.
- Stamina is must if you want to get the best out of your build.
- Hasten is always handy.

Never found it particularly helpful on my rad defender. The holy trinity of EF, RI, and LR gain nothing or little from hasten. Choking cloud gains nothing. Accel Metabolism is up a bit more, which is good. If you are relying on healing from level 22 onwards something is terribly wrong anyway (I barely need this power at all), and if you need mutate up more often, again, this isnt a good sign. EMP is an "Oh s..." power and gains little from increased recharge.
Totally skippable power if you ask me, since Rad works mainly on toggles.
My advice:
1. Team with a tank who knows how to use Rad debuffs and cluster them.
2. Rad fenders come into there own with more experienced teams at later levels.
3. Create a macro "Anchor is $target" and mercillessly beat into your team that the anchor must die last.
4. RI, EF, LR.
5. RI, EF, LR.
6. RI, EF, LR
7. Do I make myself clear as to the holy trinity of the rad set?
Oh dear.. I forgot about LR. I shall be punished. Anyway, I said hasten is handy, not a must.

AM and LR both gain from hasten, as doe iradiate, keep the damage stacking so everything is interupted.
EMP should be a "Beat that" power not an "Oh S,..." one
"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled

They're now putting it all together.

Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"
Alright got a Rad/Rad defender and hes lvl 10 atm, I don't know how to get him to 50 easiest, or just even some tips would help, please! He's getting a lot of debt. I'm worried I might abandoned this character. I'll say this for the last time...HELP!
