/ice power boost question (and telekenes too)
Power Boost only boosts the duration of mezzes (however a longer duration means you can stack more).
However the uberness of Power Boost + Power Sink make it worth taking for that combo alone.
I really should do something about this signature.
oh explain, I can totally drain someone with that combo or?
What would you suggest I drop?

What PRAF said, but remember that PB will affect many of your powers which includes holds, fear, confuse, repel, slows (movement, not recharge), +end (Power Sink), etc. I would certainly not skip it (works great with Domination up).

Levitate is not a hold, so it won't stack with Dominate. It does damage, knockup and -fly.

Yes, you can totaly drain anything up to a boss, and even make a visible dent in an AV.
You can also fully recharge yourself from one mob instead of needing to hit two.
I would drop anything other than Power Boost.

I'm still not all that convinced :/. Hmm might drop telekenesis for it :/. I'm needing to make slots for power boost now htoguh, With what you said about filling ym bar up with power boost+power sink, does that include end mod in power sink?

iirc TK only has a Mag of 1.5 in PvP (compared to 4 for Dominate) and you need Mag 11 (or 12?) to overcome a scrapper's mez protection. So you'll need to stack a few (or have Domination up) to hold them (another reason to get PB since it increases mez duration). TK is more useful in PvP for the repel effect really.
Power Sink gives you back 1/4 endurance unslotted. So with 3 EndMods and PB you should be basically back to full (PB will give you a +140% boost at lvl 41).

right I am now convinced. I shall drop telekenesis from my build in favour of power boost .
Personally, I would drop Stealth rather than TK. TK is incredibly useful and you'll have the endurace to keep it up with Power Sink.
You can always get a +Stealth IO later and slot it into Sprint.
grrr what you say that for, I was all decided then :P. I'm looking at the stealth IO things but the price of the thing to go in them is nasty :/.
If I stick the stealth thing in sprit will it be on when ever sprint is on? or just for 2 mins after activatign sprit? It is a good idea btw, I like it.
How good is the stealth? like the regular one from concelment, I assume it has no defence thing. I was hoping to get the teleport one but then that would definatly mean me having to TP every so fiten to keep it on.

Slotted in Sprint, the Stealth will last for the whole time Sprint is on, plus 2 minutes after it is switched off. It has no Defence, like you guessed.
Yeah I know they're expensive at the moment, but the prices will drop eventually. The +Stealth IO recipe (the run and jump one, either of which can be put into Sprint) can be obtained from the TF Rewards pool, if you want to try and get it sooner.

Power Boost is one of the powers I would take Ice Assault for. If anything I would drop Levitate to get it looking at your current build. Definitely dump Concealment pool and stick a stealth IO into Teleport (or wherever), if you want to PvP this would free up a pool for Medicine.
I'm going to respec today hopefully and although I have tried power boost on test and didn't really like it (I'd prefer other things really) I am considering taking it for maybe pvp purposes.
I must admit I enjoyed slamming mobs in to the ceiling with levitate + power boost but apart from that I didn't think much of it, thought everyone goes on about ice and energy as they have a power boost so, must be soemthing good about it right?

if I do decide to take it then I'm gonna have to unfortunatly drop somehting :/. All I can begrudgingly drop is stealth or telekenesis , I love stealth, having super speed too its great for ghosting missions and I want 2 red fortune in it for the +immob protection set bonus. So not to keen on dropping that.
telekenesis is very situation based and I don't use it all that frequently but when I do use it effectivly it can be amazing. I'm happy to leave this out from a pve point of view but I'm thinking pvp.
