Not sure about other badges, its good for getting some EoE insps if your gonna have a go at bashing Hamidon 
And you can get some phat loot too with a chance for a cossy recipe

Meh i didnt get a single drop of salvage or recipes from all the GMs we killed before the hami raid 
Well i got a good few bits of salvage at the hero hammi raid, but thats just cause heroes are awesome 
I don't think the monsters drop recipes or salvage.
The eventual left-over(shards and stuff) from the monsters do.
I got nice drops when the heros were clearing, yes indeed, thats when I got the salvage for my revolver
