Best possible build for a Solo Defender?

I don't want to open a new thread so i am asking my question from here.
For our stable team i made a Rad/Sonic defender. But as far as i can see there is not so much good sonic attacks. Siren's Song and Shockwave seems little useless in teams. I have Shriek and Scream so far. And planning to get Howl and Shout in future. Is there any other usefull power there for me? Or as i have an itch to grab Kick from fitness should i get it, just for personal taste.
Shriek, Scream, Shout and Howl are great, take the aim varient as well to boost your damage, and Hasten, and you've got a full attack chain there. Given how much good stuff is in the primary, and all the stacking -res, I don't know that I feel I need more attacks than that.
I would not take kick from the fitness pool, it's got a long animation and it's not very good, and nothing else in the pool is of a great deal of use to you. If I were going to take any attack from the pool powers ever (and I do occasionally, although I didn't feel it was necessary on my rad/sonic) I'd take Air Superiority as it has a reasonably quick animation, quick recharge, and it does knockdown, which can be very useful.
Hmm yes you are right, maybe i should pick hover, it is slow but at least give me some vertical movement. Hmm okay lets change the question. Combat Jump or Hover goes well with SS? I never used Leaping pool so i have no clue about combat jump and its vertical useability.
I've already got hasten. I was wondering why ppl getting it into their builds. With AM it works like a wonder to me.

Combat Jumping is a great companion to Super Speed, especially if you get Hurdle instead of Swift. Also, slotting Health & Swift (or Hurdle) isn't all that great when you have primary and secondary powers that aren't six slotted. Maybe if you have slots to spare in the later levels, but not until your attacks and stuff like Accelerate Metabolism is slotted.
And remember ED when slotting, neither the 4th Def in Maneuvers nor the 4th EndMod in Stamina are as useful there as they would be elsewhere.

Some comments:
- This is mainly a PvE build, but should work OK in PvP. I have focussed on the single-target blasts and as Wyxie said, you don't need more than 3-4 attacks for a decent chain (unless you want a full "offender")
- I like to have a bit of extra control, so plan to take both the sleep and stun, which should help when soloing (might take Howl instead if I feel I need a cone attack).
- Concerning slotting, I would focus on the Tht_Debuf in RI and afterwards on the Def_Debuf. For LR, the slow enhances only affect movement (not recharge), so I find 1 is more than enough. For EF, 2 EndRdx should be enough with Stamina and AM.
- The +def in Maneuvers is tiny, so most people take Assault instead (unless you can stack with other +def). For Vengeance, the main use is +def, so only slot the other effects if you have spare slots.
- PBU: recharges are the most important so it's up frequently. With RI and Tactics, you probably don't need more Tht_Buf for PvE.
- Nukes are often skippable for defenders, but the sonic one has a nice stun, so I'm also planning to take it. It's probably not worth it if you can't fit it in earlier and slot it.
- EM Pulse, mainly used as an AoE hold (and a very good one it is). The EndMod can work against some foes (or in PvP), but the usual slotting is acc/hold/rechg.
- As Toxic Torch said, no need for 4 of the same enhancement in a power with ED (Stamina, Maneuvers).

I realized that Maneuvers don't make a big difference so maybe one more slot for defence and it is enough for it(it has one endred one defbuff on it)
At lvl 16 i've got Lingering Radiation. So stamina has to wait a little longer, like lvl 22.
And will change sloting for EM Pulse.

Im not 50 yet, but im soloing pretty well with my Dark/Elec Defender, just drop Darkest Night on Enemy and they damage you like nothing, and u can easy heal it up in a single heal.
But i gotta say i prefer going in teams, you level 10 times as fast...
But its still good to be able to solo when noone is on.
