More than one Defence SO a waste in Elude?

It'd hit the soft cap if I recall correctly with just one SO.
If you plan on PvP'ing at all though I'd still 3 slot. Hell, I'd slot 3def in PvE as well, but i'm paranoid.
Elude provides a 45% buff to all positional defence types without any slots. This means that you hit the soft cap with no slotting. However, if you're fighting foes with ToHit buffs, or Defence debuffs (Defence debuffs are, FYI, the single most common secondary effect in PvE), you'll need to slot it, or have your togles on. Also, in PvE, with the very large +ToHit powers available to certain AT's, you'll want to 3-slot it propably.

I forgot to mention in my original posting that I so far only have been playing with one Defence SO in Elude, and with all other toggles on at the same time as I seem to be regenerating Endurance faster than I can spend it even unslotted for EndMods.

I have Elude slotted with three Defence and three recharge and it gives me few problems
Against AVs and Purples in general, they'll always hit you at some point, even with Elude running - Elude notably boosts your run speed too so ti means, in the worst case scenario, you can run away from trouble.
If in doubt, get a FF/ or /FF to team with you 
FFs are /SR and Ice tanks best friends
I have 3 defence in it. Its handy for those foes with defdebufs. A good FFer means I only end up using it for end recovery, so still AV fights

They will hit you eventually due to streakbreakers and you will either have the resistance or hitpoints. As an SR with aid self id love a sonic personally in such a situation. Adding bubbles to an eluded person adds nothing except for the situations MaXimillian stated.

Probably a silly question, but seeing as I can count on one hand the times my Claws/Super Reflex Scrapper has been hit even when fighting some very purple Bosses with Elude running, I was wondering if it perhaps caps with only one Defence SO?
