Power Pools

I've run out of decent powers to choose are there any others worth taking ie: stealth, tough, weave,or any from the leadership pool, i rarely team.

Some scrappers, mainly regen swear by tough.. If your strapped for powers which tbh completley amazes me.. Then thats the one I would take.. That or recall friend which can save a lot of time sometimes.

What powers have you got? None of those you listed are really needed for a Scrapper - my first 50 Regen had Tough but my 2nd didn't - and to be honest I didn't notice any difference in survivability.

Sorry i should of mentioned that before,
i'm a lvl 35 DM/REGEN,
i got all powers but, siphon life, confront, dark consumption, resilience, revive,i might spec out midnight grasp,
all though it's a good power it's not that useful by the time the animation does it's thing i could of hit him/her/it a few times.
I also have air superiority,combat jumping,super jump,teleport foe,swift,health,stamina.
I've heard tough and weave are good, i have no problems with end at all so i could easily take them, i like the idea of stealth and invisibility but not sure, any thoughts would be wellcomed many thanks.
ps:what about the leadership pool? i mainly solo but do team up sometimes.

I have just specced out recal friend and on my claws regen in favour of the leadership pool, it was handy being able to teleport people of course but in all honesty if your not planning on teaming much, its a bit of a waste of a power. Ive recently been pvping on my tanker and watched several of my regen friends get taken down in seconds by stalkers using AS, so i would say leadership pool and Tough are good powers to have. i have Health and stamina also to improve my survivability. Obviously though this doesnt make you tougher in the classical sense of the word, if you get hit hard and fast enough your still going down, but if you can hold on those vital seconds your in with a shot.

I''d take Hasten + Super Speed if you have spare powers.

Makes Tab+F attacking much easier and hasten is never bad bringing that big nasty shadow maul back into play.

My Kat/Regen/Body enjoys a few select pool powers:
He has Hasten, Hurdle/Health/Stamina and TP Foe/TP Self.

He had Tough once. Didn't like it, respecced it out for Air Superiority which was better for survivability.

Now I've respecced out Air Superiority and taken Combat Jumping because I'm completely bl**dy sick of arguing with Kins not to Speed Boost me. CJ lets me easily precision jump regardless of outside speed buffs and the extra immobilise protection is actually noticable vs certain mobs.

My 50....didn't take the fighting pool and barely died solo....odd occasions when encountered EB/AV...and tried to take whole mob on at once, lol. Learnt my lesson there very quickly.

Always had tactics and assault (leadership), now have vengeance too....good when others fall in battle. (took me ages to work out how to use it thou)

may respec soon....and add tough as a power...just for combatting faceplanting in PvP. May also get leaping pool for acrobatics too. Originally had both speed and flight, but respec SS out...regret that, hasten definately a must!

Will post my build soon......when eventually get around to it

id suggest getting rid of fitness pool, then you have room for 3 more powers and can fit few more in, 3 slot quick recovery, use 3 end modifications on it, if that doesnt sort out end, plus them or double plus them

I agree get hasten and tough. Them two powers help alot with on my lvl 50 regen.
I find that at the high levels your going to need stamina aswell as quick recovery. This is because of focused accuracy and tough mainly.

If your looking to be dependant then maybe pick up revive aswell, It saves you having to carry awakens if ur soloing.

As a DM/regen you should drop the whole fitness pool. Quick recovery + dark consumption (2 powers) do the same job as quick recovery + stamina (4 powers). Dropping fitness pool opens up 2 more power choices (if you pick dark consumption) which could be hasten and SS or prequisite + tough. You can only get 1 more powerpool if you drop fitness because you already have 4 (teleport, fitness, jumping, flight) which is the maximum amount of power pools a person can have.

I had a look for the numbers on fully slotted Tough but couldn't find them.

Anyone know what it is?

For a scrapper you're looking at +17.7% for "tough" when 3-slotted with +3 SOs. (11.25% unslotted)
On a /regen, resilience is 8.84% 3-slotted, 5.62% unslotted and 6.91% with just the default slot used.

Can therefore get a maximum of about 26.5% S/L resists on a /regen.

Thanks for that. It's good to know.

I didn't bother with Tough on my Kat/Regen but I think my DM/Regen is going to need it, due to the different playstyle required.

He needs to get right in the middle of a mob for an effective Soul Drain, which of course generates a good deal of aggro and tends to stay inside the mob a lot.

I was seriously considering tough for my Spines/Dark since that would push his S/L resists from 35% to 53%.

However with two damage auras and "spine burst" he's currently more a mobile AoE than a boss killer... and I'm hoping that incoming damage will nosedive when I hit 35 and can take "oppressive gloom" (30 currently) .

Will wait and see. Might pick it up later on at 44 or 47 depending on damage mitigation and endurance usage. Currently I'm building him for good AoEs, a decent single-target chain and psionic tanking capability.

He doesn't half feel squishier than my Katana/Regen though...
