Need Advice On Fire Holds

HI, id like some advice on the Fire Primary Cont Set.
I have the 1st 3 attacks (cant remember the name of the powers :s).
The next attack i was thinking of taking was Bonfire, but after that i'm stumped, ill ive mt reasons - allmost every attack/hold says minimal or 0 Dmg.
i know fire is DoT but how minimal is minimal?
Also what shoud & shouldnt i take, especially at low lvl''s ( im lvl 12 now ) i can allways respec at 24 but id like to get it right.
Also the powers i choose how should i slot them, what i have been doing so far is slotting Acc & End Reduction adleast untill i got stamina at lvl 20 - 22.
All advice hint & tip's whould be great.
Im Fire Force Feild, im aiming to be mostly pvp based, but abvously ill need to be able to pve (mainly in a team) so i can lvl up.

Ok my 2 inf and do bear in mind I am far from an expert on fire trollers my own Fire/Rad is only 18 but I know a couple good fire trollers. Anyway my opinions on fire set....

Ring of Fire
Single target immob and adds containment damage after your ST hold 2 Acc, 3 dam, and an end red couple it with Char early on for damage deal.

Char
Your ST hold and early on your workhorse power get it and slot it, 2 acc, 2 hold 2 recharge should do it.

Fire Cages
AoE Immob use with care at low levels its pure aggro in a can. 2 Acc, 1 end red and 1 Recharge to slot I think should be ok

Smoke
Not a fan myself I'd skip it tbh.

Hotfeet
Ok so this ones a debate, coupled with Flashfire and Cages or Cinders its a lot of DoT and very cool, but and its a big but its a massive aggro maganet and will eat end like there is no tomorrow when you are chaining. Acc, 2 Dam and 3 End red for me to slot it.

Flashfire
AoE Disorient top class get it, slot it, love it. 2 Acc, 2 Recharge and 2 Disorient Duration.

Cinders
PBAoE hold its an AoE hold so worth it imo. 2 Acc, 2 Recharge, 2 Hold.

Bonfire
Nice to look at but really not a fav of mine as I am not a KB fan. Might be cool if you dont use hotfeet though.

Fire Imps
Little machines of destruction just w00t! 2 Acc, 3 Dam is prolly enough.

Yup that helps alot thx M8, This Troller isnt for the hammy Raid I got an Ill Kin For the RA Droping team, lol but 1 50 at a time we cant rush these things.

Fire Cages doesn't need a recharge as it's fine out of the box...unless its for PvP.

If your do decide to take Smoke you should slot it 2 acc. Put some recharges in there depending on use. Do NOT slot for tohit debuff as its tiny. I would skip it for PvE.

Hotfeet doesn't take acc enhancements so 3 dmg, 3 end reds in here....if you take it that is....absolutely love the power myself.

A default recharge in Bonfire is all it needs (depending on use of course.) I would personally advice against this power.

Fire Imps doesnt really need 2 acc's as their base acc is very high so stick with 1 acc, 3 dmg. If you have extra slots you could put a 2nd in there but not really needed.

Not sure what disturbs me more, that I was right or that Arch got in wrong .....

Also Arch knows more about slotting fire than me so he's prolly right on the Accs

He's right about not needing acc for PvE, but if it's not auto-hit in PvP, an acc might come in handy.

So far as I know, the slow is an autohit, but the damage ticks require to hit checks.

This is going from using it against MoG'd PP's. I can't hit them at all for damage ticks, but they can't run away very fast...

Also, regarding Smoke, and the first reply in the thread. Take it, slot it, love it. A ToHit Debuff = a defence buff to your side, which is always useful, and it lets you get in close to use Cinders with minimal trouble.

Combine Smoke with a FF secondary and you can give a not inconsequential survival boost to your team/imps. To the extent that I rarely, if ever have to resummon my imps unless I forgot to bubble them.

The tohit debuff is very small in Smoke.....5% iirc so neglible at best.
Handy for semi stealthing though.

Thx every 1, so far im really loving my troller, But only been testing in PVE in a team, i can even solo wich i diddnt think possible with a troller but then the end issues kick in, so roll on stamina lvl 22 of all goes according to plan then the test, blody Bay &amp; a few friendly duels in the arena.

Like I said. I was Fire/FF on my controller, and an additional 5% on top of Deflection Shield/Insulation Shield and Dispersion Bubble is NOT inconsequential. The more defence you have, the more difference another few percent will make.

Personally I love smoke. It's stopped teams I've been on from grabbing extra aggro if I spot potential trouble nearby and smoke them. It combines well with FF, and frankly, makes my life easier all round

YMMV, of course.
