Mind / FF advice please
Dont know much about mind, but for /FF in pve get:
Personal Force Field
Deflection Shield
Insulation Shield
Dispersion Bubble
The rest is skippable
As for pools, I'd go for Fitness, Speed, Leaping and Medicine

[/ QUOTE ]Add detention field, force bolt and force bubble to that list and you've got my picks
Depends if you want attack or defense
FF-wise
Personal (not that you get a choice with that one)
Defensive:
Deflection Shield
Insulation Shield
Dispersion Bubble
Offensive:
Force Bolt
Detention Field
Repulsion Field
Mind
Mesmerise OR Dominate at first since both are holds you can go without one of them
Telekenesis is one to get early and slot the hell out of it since it's a heavy end drainer or hold off until you have stamina
Fitness is a must as a pool power as stamina will be very useful for all those high end moves
Telportation allows you to pick off foes one at a time which saves end but leaping has the aggressive moves. Also Telporting has the fastest travel power
Leadership can be a really good support and solo pool power set since you get the bonus as does any nearby allies

Offensive:
Force Bolt
Detention Field
Repulsion Field
[/ QUOTE ]None of those do any real damage, they're control powers, thus defensive.

[/ QUOTE ]Incorrect, mes is a sleep, dominate is a hold.
For FF:
skippable: Repulsion Bomb, Repulsion Field. These were made useless by the Devs. Don't bother with them.
Everything else is good depending on your playstyle. I personally didn't get the buffs, because I don't like buffing and I don't play very defensively.
For Mind:
It's all good, but it completely depends on your playstyle.
Okies, I just started an Mind / FF 'troller, he's only lvl 6 at the moment, but seems fun thus far. However, having little to no experience with either powerset I can see me making a few stupid mistakes as I progress, which is something I'd prefer to avoid.
Are there any powers I should REALLY avoid?
Are there any powers I should REALLY get but would be best off waiting until later to pick up? (Kinda like some of the */Rad debuffs which are hellish to take before stamina due to End draining)
I'd be thankful for any advice available
