Nuke slotting

Coming up to the point where i get my nuke (Black Star) and am wondering how to slot it?

Currently thinking 3 dam, 1 acc, 2 recharge . .

Do i need more acc on a nuke (would be gutting if i missed everything) or am i ok with 1? How slow/fast do they really recharge?

Seeing you don't have Aim in Dark Blast I would probably advise 1 acc in the nuke but anymore than that isn't really needed.

2 recharges in it will bring it around roughly every 200 seconds (without outside buffs).

All depends on how you plan to use it. If it's going to be the 'last resort' method, go 2 ACC, 3 damage, 1 recharge. That way you know that when you're in the situation where you have to use it, it will hit and do damage.

Personally, I like mine to be available as much as possible and will use it nearly everytime it recharges so have it slotted 3 recharge, 1 acc, two damage. However, this works because I use aim beforehand and pop a blue before hitting power sink straight after.

I have Inferno slotted 3xDamage 3xRecharge. I generally use it as a panic button, but I have kamikaze tendencies and have to panic a lot

Nukes aren't as simple on Corruptors as they are on Defenders/Blasters.

On Blasters, a Nuke is imo always worth it. Blasters only really have themselves to look out for, so having no endurance for a while shouldn't really matter if 99% if the mob is down.

On Defenders, I believe that on anything other than Kinetics, Nukes are a nono, other than the Psi one (which I believe doesn't drain/stop recovery?). The damage isn't always enough (except on Kinetics) to kill most things, and when you have nuked you won't have endurance to keep on carrying the fight along (except on Kinetics).

On my Corruptor (Fire/Kinetics) I am an Inferno junkie tbh. If there's a mob of +10s, Inferno. A Hero, Inferno. A lone lvl 1, Inferno. On Kinetics, you have a hell of a lot of damage with FS, and can get your end back with a blue and Transference, thus still helping your team against anything you didn't kill.

With Dark/*, you have no Aim, so you should definetley put 1/2 Accs in it, and Leadership always helps. If you plan to be using it quite often, go 1/2 Recharge. I don't believe a nuke should be slotted with anything below 3 Damage.

If you are Dark/Kin, go 3dam/1acc/2rech. If you are support, and plan to use as a last resort, 3dam/1acc/2tohitdebuff- as the debuff is quite large.

I planned taking my nuke (Atomic Blast) on my Rad/Kin Corruptor. Going to slot it with 3 Dmg and 3 Rechg, because I will not launch it without Aim (and I will have Tactics aswell)

For non-kinetics Corruptors I'd not take the nuke, because of the endurance crash and that it can't kill even-con minions (As I've heard)
The nukes need 0-1 Acc, because most of them have a high-ish accuracy bonus. Nova has 40% accuracy bonus IIRC.
3 dmg, 3 rechg.

Ty guys, think im gonna try Chis suggestion as it'll mostly be a panic button, 3 dam, 1 acc, 2 tohit debuffs

Psychic Wail does drain endurance and stop recovery for a short while like all the other nukes.

Afaik a */cold also has a +end power to use after nukes to regain their end. Or is there some reason why it doesnt work?

Got 3 Infernos over 2 blasters and a Corruptor, will eventually also have Dreadful Wail and Blizzard (x2) on other toons. Way i always slot my nukes (bar Blizzard atm, as different attack style) is 3 DMG, 2 ACC and 1 RECRED. I also have hasten on those toons though, so thats additional recharge.

Ive found the slotting to be effective, and in some fights, when a foe debuffs my accuracy, even 2 ACC sometimes misses EVERYTHING! Aim helps, as does BU on /EN blasters, but i still prefer that additional ACC enhancement for higher con mobs and PvP.
