Mother's Semi-Retirement.

I used to do community service in the Hollows all the time. But my Empath has only come out for a Hami raid, since I hit 50.

I may have killed DemonD, but I'm sure she'll tell you my good side offered her advice, help and, more importantly, INF for costume changes!

Very true, Jacqueline has dropped out of the sky on many occasions in the hollows and saved the [censored] of one or more of my toons.Since I suffer from chronic "Alt" itis she probably was not aware in many of those cases who she was helping.

Incidentally, nice to see Mother has posted in one of the other threads this week so hopefully we will still have the pleasure of her company in these boards even if not in the game itself.

I think, after much Soul-Searching i am going to make this Sunday the 20th of August the last time i log on for a while. I have been considering a break from Paragon City for a little while now, and to be honest it is such a lovely place filled with so many wonderful heroes and really inspiring characters i simply dont want to ever tire of it. I don't want to be one of those people who just hang on for the sake of it watching changes creep in with every new issue, i want the 'magic' i first felt when i took my first steps in Paragon...the magic i felt when i flew for the first time, and to preserve that 'magic' i am entering semi-retirement till at the earliest i8. In the meantime i plan to do some 'Mmoart.com'-esque Artwork featuring some of the wonderful characters i have met on my travels in Paragon, and perhaps explore the origins of my alts in artwork as well.
To everyone that know me on Union and to the friends that are especially close (you know who you are <img src="/uk/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /&gt, i will miss you terribly and look forward to seeing you when i return.
I will still be listening to everyones opinions on the forums and you never know may even post.

Take care for now Littleones!,
Its a goodbye for now... but not farewell.
See you Soon....x

All my Love.

Sorry, I've only just seen this post!!

Nooooo! The city isn't the same without you Such a wonderful character too

I know exactly what you mean about that initial feeling & that feeling being lost. I've just got back to the game after a 4 month break, largely, because of the same reason (& RL!). I wanted that feeling back when I 1st entered Atlas Park, saw the huge globe & the very welcoming Miss Lib standing right there to help me asking my 1st 'newb' question 'How do I fly?' Flying around at lvl14 for the 1st time, getting that cape was like being knighted

This may sound sad, but my heart was pounding when I saw this wonderful environment in a game!! The only other time this has happened in a game was Doom3 (but for other not so pleasant reasons!)

We've only chatted and teamed a few times, but you really stood out for me and I look forward to your return Mummy

Best wishes

@Knight Eye
