I was in SC too. I havent PvP'd with my dom in SC for a while and I was quickly reminded why. 1St death took a while, Once the heroes knew I was there it was a case of continous runs back from the hospital so I could get 2 shotted by non damage AT's. I think i died 4 times then decided there was no point. By the time I left I had spent more time waiting for rest to recharge than actually playing.

SC isn't the best place for Doms IMO, because our strengths just aren't available there. Let me explain:
In SC it's 1, 2, splat, dead Dom.
In Warburg it's still 1, 2, splat, dead Dom but you get your Toggle Dropper powers which make you a beast. The way how the Dom gets kills is killing fast, and tier 8s and 9s will give that. Can't wait until I get Thorn Barrage on my level 37 Plant/Thorns slotted up and can finally do a pretty good damaging attack chain on held foes.
In SC that option isn't available, just you and your weak attacks + the highish damage melee attack.
I get much more kills in WB than in SC, due to these reasons. While they can always splat me right away if they get in melee range, they will be killed faster, alot faster when you get your attack chain completed.
Sure, Elude and other godmodes will be tough nut to crack, but always remember that there is a crash in the end, which will be victory for you.

SC is where I want to pvp most though, I dont really have any interest in warburg, although I might drop by for nukes sometime, IF I can find a way to not die. RV, I dunno, I've only tryed it during the RV test, it was fun then but I've heard its a bit hero dominated (no pun intended) at the moment.

I always look at threads when they have strayed away completely from what the original point was, not so bad this thread 
. For my blapper i wouldnt even consider not having acro, so a controller's hold will usually break it with 1 hold, 2 at the most, and with a blaster/scrapper etc i survive the first hold. It may not sound a lot but the way i PvP is all about speed, and surviving that first hold is imperitive. I can then pick them off, otherwise i would be held and my stock of BFs depleting, and therefore die if i run out. It gives me that edge but it all depends on how you play, some people's playstyle dont require acrobatics but i think it is very important. One power that is needed for one person's playstyle and build may be a waste to anothers, it is not about what power is good for everyone, i detest this generalisation, people should look at what powers are right for them and test it instead of just going for what everyone has, it may not benefit you as much as something else. I doubt anyone can disagree with me and have a founded reply.

I just came back after spending couple hours in union sirens call with my dominator (lvl 24 mind/energy). I discovered that while my dominator is not useless, the only situation that it can be useful is when the opponents agree NOT to attack me and let me stack holds in peace. Since there doesnt seem to be enough support available (and villains have less than heroes anyway), I last seconds if they notice me and we didnt already overwhelm the enemy.
Domination was less of an issue, I got to use it rarely but i could stack enough holds to toggledrop tanks, WS dwarves and scrappers without domination anyway (at least if I was speed boosted) - in case I didnt get any aggro that is. And if heroes didnt have defender backup. Mostly I was fighting without domination anyway. All of my secondary was useless except power boost.
So I still have two issues with dominators, damage and survivability with the latter being a serious issue.
