Funnily enough, I bumped into a new member of my Supergroup (The Echelon) last week. Who was a Roleplayer (This is on Defiant, I might add). I tried to encourage him to move to Union, since it was alittle akward talking to someone who was "in-character" when I was not. But I admired the fact that he didn't care. He liked Defiant.= and he liked Roleplaying. He didn't see why he couldn't play both.

I sometimes talk IC, I'm not a regular RPer, just sometimes it's fun to talk as your character than as the one controlling it. There are RPers on Defiant, just not as many as those Onions.

He's absoutely right - Those of us who RP on Defiant just tend to be a little more tolerant of OOC stuff, since most people don't RP at all.
We of 'The Patriot Brigade' are trying to make Defiant more popular for RP'ers so if you ever around then look us up and we can do some freestyle roleplaying.
I would love to RP on Defiant with my tanks, scavanger and salvager, Scav is a level 17 ice/stone and Sal a level 24 stone/ice, if you see me on, send a me a tell and I'll gladly do an RP mission.
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
I think RP numbers will even out eventually once all the RPers on Union have filled up their slots.

I have some characters on Defiant that have gone unused for a long time and might consider playing one of them if there is some RP going on!
Hi there.
Once more, my altitis has struck and filled the last of my slots on Union meaning that I am stuck with a difficult decision to make in the near future: do I delete one of my characters or do I go over to Defiant when I inevitably create a new toon?
However, roleplay is one of my favourite activities on CoX and although I can quite happily play without doing it, my character builds always seem to lend themselves to it.
So I guess my question is whether there is any roleplay going on over on Defiant? I know there's not as much but I just want to get a feel so I can adjust my expectations accordingly.
